About the event

Colorado Anime Fest will return to the Denver Marriott Tech Center on March 15 - March 17, 2024. Colorado Anime Fest was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with decades of combined experience, having run dozens of events across the country. We held our first convention in February 2016. And we wouldn’t be where we are today without our amazing, dedicated staff. Colorado Anime Fest has donated $25,101 to local charities to date. We’re also a member of the Japan America Society of Colorado.

About the application

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE BLOCK OF TEXT BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM:

Thank you for your interest in Colorado Anime Fest! We are looking for exhibitors selling officially-licensed merchandise who will provide a fun and happy shopping experience for our convention members. If that's you, we'd love to see you at COAF 2024!

All Vendors and artists are required to adhere to Colorado Anime Fest general rules, found here: https://coanimefest.com/policies/general-rules.

Due to limited space, we recommend applicants offering hand-made goods also apply to our Artists' Alley.

Booth Pricing (Does not include taxes or fees):
One (1) in-line booth 10 x 8: $500
One (1) corner booth 10 x 8: $650

The first booth rented includes two (2) badges and each additional booth includes one (1) badge. Additional costs may apply for electricity, internet, extra badges and special requests. The sale of Japanese snacks in Exhibitor Hall requires a $100 food buyout be paid. Please see the contract for more information.

Please note: COAF has a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding bootlegs. Vendors found to be selling unauthorized merchandise will be promptly removed from the convention.

INSTRUCTIONS: Take a moment to read through all items on this form before initiating the process of filling it out. It's a good idea to copy your responses into a document so they don't get lost in the middle of filling out this form, just in case. This is merely an application—we'll evaluate all of the candidates and make a final, juried decision on exhibitors.

Vendor Hall is juried and room gives preference to previous vendors.

Colorado Anime Fest requires a Colorado sales tax number. For those businesses outside of Colorado, you must apply for a temporary sales tax number with the city of Denver. https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/DR0589.pdf

Applicants will be notified by January 31, 2024 if they are accepted or waitlisted. Please do not contact us earlier, we receive hundreds of applications and the process takes a long time. You can view your application status and edit your application through Eventeny. Please only contact us if you have a problem or conflict. 

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a resellers permit, federal or state tax ID, or social security number if accepted into the hall, due to state filing requirements.

Prices

Food Buyout $100 Non-refundable The sale of pre-packaged Japanese snacks is permitted to vendors who purchase the $100 food buyout.
Single booth $500 Non-refundable Each booth is a 8x10 space that comes with (1) 6ft table, (2) chairs and (2) badges for the first booth and (1) badge thereafter. Max of (4) booths. Booth base cost is $500 each.
Corner Space Upcharge $150 Non-refundable Each booth is a 8x10 space that comes with (1) 6ft table, (2) chairs and (2) badges for the first booth and (1) badge thereafter. Max of (4) booths. Corner booths are an additional charge of $150 each.
Additional Badge $45 Non-refundable Vendors may purchase up to 6 additional badges, in addition to the ones that come with the Vendors table space.
