About the application

Kansas City Irish Fest will take place Sept 1-3 at Crown Center and Washington Square Park. Food vendors must operate all hours of the festival and be available for set up as early as Thursday, Aug 31st. You must have a Kansas City, MO Health Department yearly permit, or apply and receive a temporary permit in order to operate at the festival. Please note this is an application only. Accepted vendors will be notified no later than June 15th. Once accepted to Kansas City Irish Fest and you choose to participate your credit card will be charged. You will have a week to accept your spot. Vendors are selected based on variety of menu, overall look of set up, and festival and event experience. Vendor booth placement will be determined by Kansas City Irish Fest. ****Please note, no vendors can sell beverages of any kind. All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic are exclusively sold by Kansas City Irish Fest.

Terms & Conditions

* Vendors must report 10% of their sales by Monday, Sept 11th to KCIF. Failure to do so could result in you not be invited back for 2024.* Vendors will be allowed a 10-foot-wide banner, not to exceed 24 inches in height, to be hung in front of the vendors’ booth.* Vendors will supply to KCIF a list of all items intended for saleat the festival. KCIF has the right to disallow any item oritems from being available at the festival.* There will be designated areas for food & beverage booths.. Booth placement will be determined based on menu items sold. KCIF will decide booth placement. You MUST adhere to load in and load out times* KCIF will take place rain or shine and all fees are nonrefundable.* Each vendor will be given six “Vendor Passes” for the purpose of permitting staff to gain entrance to the festival grounds.* Vendors will be expected to have their booths completely set-up at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the festival each day. We will send you an email in August with all load in instructions and we will deliver your vendor passes to you onsite during load in.  Exhibitors will be told of drop-off sites for loading and unloading their wares, and also locations to park their vehicles during the event. No vehicles will be allowed on festival grounds during operational hours.* Vendors will be allowed to sell their items only to persons on the festival grounds.* Vendors are NOT ALLOWED to bring in alcoholic beverages. Vendors will comply with all local, city, and state health and liquor control rules and regulations.Vendors will supply all necessary items, etc., to accomplish these goals, including but not limited to fire extinguishers.* Grease disposal is the responsibility of vendor and must be disposed properly, inaccordance with Health Department and EPA standards. If we find that you havedisposed of grease anywhere on KC Irish Fest grounds you will NOT be allowed back for 2024.* Vendors are asked to respect Crown Center and Washington Square Grounds . Please place temporary flooring if using grease or other products that can leave marks on the grounds.* KCIF will provide trash removal throughout the event. Vendors are responsible for the condition and cleanliness of their site during festival hours and after teardown. Site condition and cleanliness will be factors in determining vendor participation in 2024.* All beverage sales will be handled exclusively by the KCIF bars.Vendors will not be allowed to sell beverages of any kind, only food unless with prior permission from KCIF* Food vendors CANNOT accept tokens. KCIF will not reimburse you for any tokenscollected. Tokens are no longer currency at KCIF* INSURANCE – All vendors must provide KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST with certificate of insurance that lists KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST as additionally insured under a $1 million general liability insurance policy. Email* KCIF will provide each vendor with power. Food vendors MUST provide all electrical needs to the festival. 


Kansas City Irish Fest Food Vendor Space $800 Non-refundable Fee is $800 plus 10% of gross sales. $800 is due within one week of acceptance to the festival. 10% will be due by September 12th.
KCMO Temporary Health Permit Fee $177 Non-refundable If you do not have a yearly health permit with KCMO you are required to fill out an application and will be inspected on site by KCMO health department officials. KCIF will gather all applications and payments and turn them in together. Please check this fee if you need a permit. We will send you the application to fill out via email.
10 x 10 Tent Rental $200 Non-refundable If you need Kansas City Irish Fest to provide you with a 10 x 10 frame tent please select this option along with the booth space.
15 x 15 or 10 x 20 tent rental $300 Non-refundable If you need Kansas City Irish Fest to provide you with a 10 x 20 or 15 x 15 frame tent please select this option.
