About the registration

This application is for concession food vendors only. SPACE IS LIMITED!Vendors can only sell food items listed on the application. Meat products are not allowed. Lemonade, coffee & tea sells will be limited to a small number of vendors for an additional fee of $250. A complete menu and price list are required to be submitted with this application. 
- Carbonated beverages and bottled water are sold by The Barbecue Festival and may not be sold by other vendors. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- The Barbecue Festival reserves the right to limit menu items and might contact you for menu revisions.
- All vendors are required to return, after the festival, a report listing gross receipts; 20% of the gross receipts. The booth fee is not deducted from the percentage due to the festival.
- Photos of vendor booth,food truck or concession trailer are required to process the application
- Vendor must maintain a clean, organized and safe workplace through the festival hours.
- Spaces are assigned on a random basis; we do not entertain requests for specific locations.
- All activities must be conducted within the assigned space only. Sidewalks and streets must remain unobstructed at all times.
- No vendor can have more than (2) 10’ x 10’ spaces or (1) 10’ x 20’ space.
- Provide quality food product in compliance with NC Health Department Regulations
- If accepted, you must provide a certificate of insurance listing The Barbecue Festival as the certificate holder.
- A North Carolina tax identification number is required and must be submitted.
- The Barbecue Festival is an outdoor street festival on streets that may be sloped or uneven and proceeds rain or shine.
- All tents must be fire-resistant.
- The festival only supplies the space. The festival does not supply tables, chairs, or tents.
- Generators may be allowed but would need prior approval.
- Cancellation Policy:
  • Refunds requested prior to August 1st will be refunded 50% of the registration fee (less $25 app fee which is non-refundable). After August 2nd, there are absolutely no refunds.
- The Barbecue Festival reserves the right to refuse any application and deny any exhibit deemed inappropriate.
- Damage to the festival site caused by the vendor’s presence will result in a fine.

One day street festival celebrating & serving one style of barbecue...Lexington Style! The festival will also feature 5 stages of entertainment, 250+ art & craft vendors, special attractions, and MORE! Join us for the fun in Lexington, NC on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Terms & Conditions

All vendors are required to return, after the festival, a report listing gross receipts; 20% of the gross receipts. The booth fee is not deducted from the percentage due to the festival.  A complete menu and price list are required to be submitted with this application.  I acknowledge and understand the 2023 Barbecue Festival concession information. I understand that if I violate any regulations, the Festival Officials may terminate my participation without a refund. I waive/release The Barbecue Festival & Preferred Events from any and all claims, including responsibility for theft, damage, loss, or injury during the setup & duration of the event.

10x10 $625.00 Non-refundable Vendors can only sell food items that are listed on the application and approved by the festival.
10x20 SOLD OUT Non-refundable Vendors can only sell food items that are listed on the application and approved by the festival.
Power - 20 AMP/110 $75.00 Non-refundable
Power - 50 AMP/240 4 Wire Non Twist Lock $100.00 Non-refundable
Beverage Fee $250.00 Non-refundable We will allow a limited number of vendors to pay the beverage fee (in addition to the vendor fee) to sell lemonade, coffee, and tea. No sodas, carbonated beverages, or bottled water are allowed to be sold under any circumstances.
