About the application

Perform on the NoDa Brewing Company North End lawn during the Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF) on October 21st or October 22nd. Our stage management team will provide sound, assistance on and off the stage, and appropriate guidance. We're looking for Charlotte-area performers to take the stage for up to 45 minutes during the Charlotte Chalk Art Festival.

We are open to all types of performances with a family friendly vibe in mind.
CCAF2023 will take place at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 23rd Street, Charlotte, NC 282206. CCAF2023 is produced & sponsored by Creative Canvas Productions, LLC, Jerry's Artarama, and Eventful Expressions NPC. NoDa Brewing Company is our Venue Sponsor.

About the event

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2023) is a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival being held at Noda Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd Street, Charlotte, NC 28206 on October 21st and 22nd from 12pm to 4pm each day. CCAF2023 features a street chalk art competition for ages 12 to 17 and 18+. Each category, including Youth Teams, will compete for Cash Prizes. Festival goers will watch a street chalk art gallery come to life while enjoying various music and performance offerings, patronizing our curated arts and crafts, and food and beverage vendors.

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival committee reserves the right to deny any application for any reason. If accepted, you will be REQUIRED to sign a Performance Liability Form. CCAF2023 is a two-day RAIN OR SHINE EVENT EXCEPT FOR SEVERE WEATHER. CCAF2023 committee reserves the right to CLOSE the festival on either day due to extreme weather or public safety concerns, without refund to vendor or payment to performers. We reserve the right to POSTPONE the festival prior to October 21st should there be an in advance warning of extreme weather, without refund or payment as appropriate. Should there be a POSTPONEMENT, the festival will be moved to a TBD date and all approved performers will retain their performance slot if they are available or will be replaced with another performer as needed.
