This application is for those wishing to be a food vendor at the 2023 Nez Perce County Fair.

Thank you for your interest in being a Food Vendor at the 2023 Nez Perce County Fair.  Please review the information below and completely fill out the attached application.  Please note that when you sign your application, you are certifying that you have read this information.  This application is neither an offer nor a guarantee of space.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at either (208) 743-3302 x201 or countyfair@npcfair.org.  
 
We are always looking for companies with new or different cuisines, a variety of offerings, popular markets, and the willingness to join us as partners in making a professional and financially successful fair.  Our four day fair brings in an attendance of approximately 20,000 people.  
 
APPLICATIONS AND SELECTION:  We will start accepting applications on February 15, 2023.  Applications will be considered upon space availability.  Selection of exhibitor/vendor by fair management considers, but is not limited to, the following:  Cuisine (Variety/Specialty), similarity of cuisine, previous experience/references, infrastructure needs (space, power, water), local vs non-local. All vendors must submit an application. Do not submit payment with this application.
 
Applications are due by April 1, 2022.  If you are offered a space, it is anticipated that contracts will be issued the first part of May. If a contract is awarded, a signed contract and the 50% of the remaining total amount due is due by June 1, 2023.   Payment in full will be due no later than August 1, 2023.  Any cancellations after August 31, 2023 will forfeit all funds paid.  If the Fair is able to resell the space, the funds paid will be returned. NEW:  DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PAYMENT WITH THE APPLICATION.
 
All selected booths will need to be in compliance with all Fire Codes.  
 
For the best interest of the fair, management reserves the right to assign booth locations at their discretion. Efforts are made to give previous fair exhibitors/vendors their first choice of location, but Fair Management will make the final decision.  All applications must include a picture (preferred) or sketch of the proposed booth or trailer set up.  
 
RULE VIOLATION DEPOSIT: All Vendors must pay a $125 Rule Violation Deposit as part of the contract. Deposits will be returned no later than October 31, 2023, providing the vendor has not violated any part of the application information, application, contract or Vendor Handbook.  Signature on your contract verifies you have read and understand these documents.
 
PRODUCTS TO BE SOLD:  The application must list a complete menu that includes:  name of item, description, quantity given and price.  Any products not listed on or attached to your application will not be sold.  Fair Management reserves the right to prohibit the selling of any item that infringes on the menu items of another vendor.  Variety of menu and type of cuisine will also be taken into account when assigning vendor booth space locations. 
 
Any changes to the approved list of items to be sold must be requested in writing by August 1, 2023.  A written notice of the decision will be returned to the vendor via email or mail.  
 
APPEAL PROCESS & PROCEDURES:  Fair Management is under the direction of Nez Perce County Fair Board.  Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Vendor Application Process shall be resolved by submitting a written letter addressed to the Nez Perce County Fair Board by August 1, 2023 in order to be reviewed at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Nez Perce County Fair Board.
 
RV SPACES require a separate application that is available on our website.

Outdoor space only includes the space (no table, tent, chairs, etc).  Any power or water needs must be indicated on the application.  An Electrical Charge will be charged for all food vendors (see below).

10' x 10' Food Vendor Space $515 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10'x10' food booth space. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
10'x20' Food Vendor Space $750 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10'x20' Food Vendor Space. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
10' x 30' Food Vendor Space $950 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10' x 30' Food Vendor Space. Only space is included. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
Pillar Space - 15'x15' (NO COVER PROVIDED IN 2023) $750 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 15' x 15' food vendor space that has pillars on each side. NO COVER WILL BE PROVIEDED IN 2023. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
10' x 40' Food Vendor Space $1,100 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10'x40' Food Vendor Space. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
10' x 50' Food Vendor Space $1,250 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10' x 50' food vendor space. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
10' x 60' Food Vendor Space $1,400 Non-refundable This is an outdoor 10' x 60' food vendor space. Only space is included. Renter is responsible for trailer, tent or other cover, table, chairs, etc.
Rule Violation Deposit $125 Non-refundable This deposit is required for all vendors and will be refunded if all rules in the handbook, application and contract are followed. Deposits will be returned no later than October 31.
110 Power $90 Non-refundable This fee is for those food vendors who need 110 power.
220V/30 Amp Power $145 Non-refundable This fee is for food vendors who are in need of 220V/30 amp power.
220V/50 Amp Power $175 Non-refundable This fee is for food vendors who need 220 Volt/50 Amp power.
