Vendor/ Display Space Application

The ninth annual Live at the Plaza summer concert series is back for 2023! Every Friday in June and July the City will feature a local band in the family-friendly atmosphere of Government Plaza. The shows are held from 6 to 9 p.m., and admission is free and open to the public. A limited number of spaces will be available each week for vendor/display space on Government Plaza.   Retail sales are prohibited unless the vendor has a mobile food vending license, a City of Tuscaloosa Business License, a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license, or a 2023 City of Tuscaloosa transient business license. Display space will be limited to a 10’ x 10’ area and will not include a tent, table, or chairs. The vendor may bring their own tent, table, and chairs, but note that the tent must be weighted down and cannot be staked into the ground.  Application Deadline: Monday, May 1, 2023 11:59 p.m. Cost: There is a $25 Non-Refundable fee for each Live at the Plaza event attended. If you pay by credit card, there is an additional credit card processing fee. Credit card invoices will be sent the Monday before the event. Cash and checks (payable to the City of Tuscaloosa) will be accepted at the Special Events office located in the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. Money will be due by 12 p.m. the day before the event. Live at the Plaza is a free summer concert series that occurs in downtown Tuscaloosa at Government Plaza every Friday in June and July from 6pm to 9pm. The event features local live performances, food trucks, and vendors in the family-friendly atmosphere of Government Plaza.
