About the event

Taste of Chamblee is back and we've missed the cuisines just as much as we missed our attendees! On October 14th, we will be celebrating the diverse restaurant community in Chamblee. In addition to the tasty bites and brews, we'll feature SEC and ACC college football games on two GIANT LED screens in the Beer Gardens, a friendly KidZone and we're bringing back the Wine Down Tent. We can't wait to cheers together once again!

About the application

We're back! Excitement is brewing and we are inviting you to join the 14th Annual Taste of Chamblee, the city's largest food festival! Taste of Chamblee will expose your business to a flourishing community with nearly 30,000 residents and consumers. The one-day community festival celebrates Chamblee's unique history and diverse restaurant and business scene. The festival features a Kids Zone, two giant LED screens that will be tuned into the ACC and SEC football games and a Wine Down Tent. We are seeking restaurants to join us for this community event that showcases the wonderful cuisine for which Chamblee is known! #ChambleeEats
 
Note that this year, the time of the event will be 3:00pm - 9:00pm. Vendors are required to be present for the duration of the event.
 
If you are a food truck/trailer, we may or may not be able to accommodate you based on event/festival space.
 
We will be using the same phone app and QR code-based system that was used in 2022 via Intellitix. Devices will be provided to each vendor for use throughout the event. All devices will be preset and ready for use during the event. A training for how to use the app and devices will be required prior to the event. Details about the training are TBA. 
 
Schedule for Vendors:
  • Application deadline: Friday, September 22
  • Finalized Menu with costs: Friday, September 29 
    • We ask that all food items cost between $2 and $6. Remember, these are "tastes", so portions should be kept small! Alcohol is exempt from this rule.
  • Vendor Fee includes:
  • The $100 fee pays for one (1) booth space, which includes a 10 x 10 white tent, one (1) six-foot table, and two chairs.
  • You may also bring your own tent, but the fee will not be reduced if you do so.
  • If you require more tables/chairs, you will need to bring them.
  • If you'd like another booth space, regardless of if you are bringing your own tent, please pay for a double booth, which costs $150.00 (only $50 more than a single booth).

Terms & Conditions

In submitting an application for Taste of Chamblee 2023, the applicant and the Vendor are agreeing to comply with the below terms and conditions:

  • All payments are final, no refunds. Taste of Chamblee is a rain or shine event.
  • Taste of Chamblee does not guarantee exclusivity of products displayed.
  • Taste of Chamblee and its employees and agents shall not be responsible for loss, damage, third-party damages, claims or loss to property, persons, or vessels, injury to exhibitors, their employees, invitees, guests, or visitors within the confines of the space contracted by the Vendor.
  • Payment for goods will be processed via Crowdblink, a web-based service. The vendor will be provided this device, along with the app, pre-uploaded onto the device the day of the event.
  • Cash transactions and free samplings are strictly prohibited.
  • Vendors are required to set up an account on Eventeny and schedule a training session with Event Management prior to Taste. Scheduling details TBD. 
  • The City of Chamblee does not retain a percentage of sales, but Eventeny charges a processing fee. When an item is sold, there is a small fee to cover the costs (5% transaction fee) and standard credit card processing fee.
  • Vendors who do not set up on schedule (before 2:00 pm) may have their designated space changed or occupied by another Vendor at the discretion of Event Management.
  • Vendors are responsible for maintaining acceptable standards of sanitation and disposing of trash into appropriate receptacles. A $100 cleaning fee will be issued if left in an inappropriate level of cleanliness.
  • Any damage or loss to equipment supplied by Event Management will be billed directly to the Vendor within 30 business days after the festival.
  • Tent décor should be in good taste. Event Management shall be the final judge as to what constitutes good taste and has the authority to require removal or modification of any display.
  • No vehicles will be permitted on site during festival hours. Cars must remain outside of festival parameters until after 9:00 pm.
  • All Vendors must comply with policies established by DeKalb County Health Department. Bring copies of any necessary permitting and registrations with you to the event.
By signing submitting this application, the applicant and Vendor certify that they hold authority to approve the aforementioned terms and agreements.

Prices

Vendor Single Booth Rental $100 Non-refundable Vendor booth rental fee includes reservation of one (1) booth space with one (1) 10 x 10 tent, one (1) six-foot table, and two (2) chairs. Rental fees are non-refundable. This fee does not change regardless of if you want to bring your own tent. If you require additional tables and chairs, please be sure to bring them on your own. *You will want to add either a SINGLE BOOTH option OR a DOUBLE BOOTH option to your cart. Not both.*
Vendor Double Booth Rental $150 Non-refundable This fee is if you'd like a double booth space, totaling 10 x 20. Two 10 x 10 tents, two (2) six-foot tables, and four chairs will be included. The fee will NOT change regardless of if you want to bring your own tent(s). *You will want to add either a SINGLE BOOTH option OR a DOUBLE BOOTH option to your cart. Not both.*
Electrical Outlet $50 Non-refundable Please include if you will need an electrical outlet. If you do not indicate that you need an outlet, one will NOT be available to you during the event.
