A coastal favorite, the Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, artists market, live music, food, and more. About the application

The Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival is a coastal favorite and a nationally award-winning event that combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, art and craft vendors, live music, food, and more. Now in its sixteenth year, with more than 45,000 guests, the festival is held in Jekyll Island’s National Historic Landmark District.
 
 Note: This is not a Georgia Grown Member Application and is not transferable if used by mistake.

Terms & Conditions

Requirements:
·         Download, read and follow all Requirements & Regulations
·         Download, read and follow the “Vendor Guidelines for Waste Reduction and Recycling”
·         Non-refundable application fee: $35.00
·         Applicant must provide five (5) Images:
o   One (1) authentic outside image of the entire food truck or booth
§  The image must reflect what the vendor will look like at the Festival.
§  Most of the time an image of the truck/booth is the final deciding factor for acceptance.
o   One (1) image of the menu that will be served at the festival.
§  Pricing must be on the menu and must remain the same for the duration of the festival.
o   Three (3) different images of the food options on your menu for the festival.
·         When accepted Food Court Vendors must provide the following on or before October 2, 2023 or forfeit vendor space: 
o   Food vendor License Agreement (attached to application)
o   Certificate of Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 with the Jekyll Island Authority listed as additionally insured.
·         An application will be rejected if all requirements are not followed. 

Furthermore, by signing below you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Jekyll Island Authority from any claims whatsoever arising from your participation as a vendor and any theft, loss, or damage to the person or property of the undersigned while in possession or under the supervision of Jekyll Island Authority during the Shrimp & Grits Festival.
 
No refunds or credits will be issued for vendor cancellation, inclement weather cancellation, or an act of God.

Prices

Non-refundable Application Fee $35 Non-refundable
10" x 11" Single (See attached Vendor Booth $$ Map) $200 Non-refundable Fee includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water. All work & product must be contained within your booth space. The vendor’s display, including tent, canopy, or viewing bins, cannot extend over or into walkways and must be contained within vendor’s assigned space. If additional shelter, shade, or storage is set up in front or behind assigned booth the vendor will be charged an additional $400 per day/per additional space. If you need a larger space, purchase it when applying for the festival and save money.
10'x21' Side by Side ( See Vendor Booth $$ Space Map) $390 Non-refundable Fee includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
20' x 11' Double Deep (See attached Vendor Booth $$ Map) $390 Non-refundable Fee includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
10' x 31' Space (See attached Vendor Booth $$ Map) $580 Non-refundable Fee includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
20' x 21' Space (See attached Vendor Booth $$ Map) $770 Non-refundable Fee includes one (1) 110-volt 20 amp, and access to non-potable water.
