A show and sale of art & craftsmanship with an emphasis on original art and hands on craftsmanship An Artists Open Market filled with unique fine artists, makers and craftsmanship of functional and decorative arts. A festive community experience that invites patrons to explore, shop and support a wide variety of artisan small businesses. An experience to be discovered and enjoyed.

About the application

This is an artist call intake (no fee collected) application for artist interested in this event starting in the Spring of 2023!

After you fill out the application and are on our interested artist list, you will then be first to be informed when everything is set and we actively begin the booking process, which will be sooner than later.
 We are way ahead of the curve in planning, advertising, promoting and featuring participating artist and sponsors! We will be kicking off everything Big this coming spring!

Saturdays from 10a to 4p April 15th each week until October ( 25 event dates )

Artists/Vendor Rate will be $65 for a 10x10 booth space ( Booth with weights are required )

A spring, summer and fall open air artisan mall, stimulating Rochester growth it’s people and community. Where Rochesterians and its visitors can enjoy a festive outdoor market shopping experience, consisting of a core of juried vendors whose offerings consist of self-made goods, arts, textiles, fashion, home goods, furnishings and much more. Surrounded by theater, music, food, entertainment and activities all-inclusive of the greater Rochester community both young and old.
 

Terms & Conditions

When we begin actively booking:

Vendor Rate will be $65 for a 10x10 booth space ( Booth with weights are required )

You will ONLY be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your selected vending dates. 

NO REFUNDS: There are no refunds of the vending as vendor fees are used for promotional materials, rent and event costs. 

WEATHER: 
The market is an outdoor event rain or shine we set up unless constant weather dictates otherwise.

SPOT REQUESTS: 
Vendor spot requests are first-come, first served. If you do not have a spot preference, one will be assigned to you. Please note, vendor spot preferences will be highly considered but can't be guaranteed. SETUP AND BREAKDOWN: Setup time is between 7AM - 9:40AM. All vendors must be setup and ready to vend by market open (10 AM). Any vendors that arrive after market open, will have their spot forfeited and will NOT be allowed to set up. If for whatever reason, you cannot make your participating date, it is your responsibility to contact us prior to market open to let us know. Breakdown can begin anytime after market close (4PM). Breaking down early requires permission from event staff. Vendors who leave early without permission may not be invited back for future markets. 

FOOD VENDORS:
Food Vendors that do not operate out of a food truck, must make sure they have obtained a Temporary Food Permit from the Monroe County Health Department and follow all necessary guidelines (food permit and guidelines attached below). ONLY food truck vendors are allowed to operate an open flame at the market. If you are a food vendor that does not operate within a food truck, you cannot use any open flames to cook at your booth due to Rochester Fire Department event safety regulations. 

 MARKET VALUES: 
An all inclusive community for all to come together in this festive celebration of the arts. Hate is never tolerated.

I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be released publicly. Community Advertising Group LLC, Innovation Square,  and affiliated businesses are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event.

Picture requirements

  • Minimum pictures required: 15
  • Images is everything.... At least 10 color photos of your recent works/products, at least one photo of your booth set-up, and at least one photo of you making your items or of your work space. If you want to be well represented in even advertising, submit landscape oriented photos. The better your photos look, the better your application looks to us, and the better we can present you as a participating artist/vendor.
