Bazaar Vendor Application
About the application
The Colfax Bazaar is a curated vintage market and makers fair hosted at the Historic Fruit Exchange Building in Historic Downtown Colfax, CA — presented by the Historic Colfax Downtown Association (HCDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing life back to our downtown. Each Bazaar has grown a little bigger and a little livelier, drawing treasure hunters, pickers, and vintage lovers from across the region to a one-day celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and character.
We're currently inviting a limited number of vendors to apply. If you sell thoughtfully presented vintage, antique, artisan, or repurposed goods — and want to showcase your work in a charming, historic setting — we'd love to hear from you.
This is an application, not a guaranteed booth. All vendors are reviewed and approved by HCDA. If selected, you'll receive a confirmation email with payment and setup instructions. Booth fee is 10'x10' outdoor only space and is non-refundable once submitted — full details in our Vendor Terms & Conditions below.

2. Application and approval
All vendors apply through Eventeny. Submitting an application does not guarantee a space.
The Colfax Bazaar is a curated market, not a flea market. HCDA selects vendors for quality, fit and variety of vintage, collectible, antique, handmade and artisan goods.
HCDA may decline any application, or limit vendors in a category to keep the mix balanced.
A space is confirmed only once the application is approved and the booth fee is paid.
Booth assignments are made by HCDA and are final. Requests are welcome but not guaranteed.
3. Booth fees and payment
Approved
Booth fee (10×10 space)
On or before Saturday, November 7, 2026 $50
After November 7, 2026 $75
The rate is set by the date the application is approved, not the date it was submitted.
Eventeny charges the card on file automatically when the application is approved.
The fee covers one space for the day. Spaces may not be shared, sublet or transferred without HCDA's written approval.
4. Cancellations and refunds
All booth fees are non-refundable. This includes vendor cancellations, no-shows, and vendors removed for breaking these terms.
5. Weather
The Bazaar does not run in bad weather. If HCDA cancels for weather, the event is rescheduled and the booth fee carries over to the new date. HCDA will notify vendors by email as early as possible. Booth fees are not refunded if a vendor cannot attend the new date.
6. Setup and load-out
Load-in begins at 7:00 AM. Booths must be fully set up before shopping opens at 9:00 AM.
Vehicles must be unloaded and moved to the vendor parking lot area before 9:00 AM, as directed by HCDA volunteers.
Outdoor spaces are 10×10 with no electricity. Vendors bring their own canopy, tables, chairs and displays.
Canopies must be weighted with at least 25 lbs per leg. Stakes may not be driven into pavement.
Vendors stay open until 3:00 PM. Packing up early disrupts shoppers and neighboring vendors.
Vendors leave their space clean and take all trash, boxes and unsold goods with them.
7. Merchandise and sales
Vendors sell only the types of goods described in their approved application.
Not allowed: weapons, illegal items, counterfeit or knock-off goods, and adult content.
Vendors selling food or drink must hold the required county health permit and may need separate approval.
Vendors are responsible for their own California seller's permit, sales tax and any business licenses.
Vendors handle their own sales, cash and card payments.
8. Conduct
Vendors treat shoppers, other vendors, volunteers and the historic building with courtesy and care.
No amplified music or sound from booths without HCDA approval.
No smoking or vaping in or near booths or inside the Fruit Exchange Building.
Pets in booths must be leashed and well-behaved.
HCDA may remove any vendor who breaks these terms or creates a safety concern, without refund.
9. Liability and insurance
Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, displays and property. HCDA and the property owner are not liable for loss, theft or damage.
Vendors assume all risk for their booth and agree to hold harmless and indemnify HCDA, its volunteers, and the property owner, Todd Saylor, from claims arising from the vendor's booth, goods or conduct.
Vendors are encouraged to carry their own general liability insurance. HCDA may require a certificate of insurance naming HCDA and Todd Saylor as additional insureds from food vendors or higher-risk booths.
10. Photos and promotion
HCDA may photograph and film the event, including vendor booths and goods, and use the images to promote The Colfax Bazaar. Vendors are encouraged to share the event and tag @thecolfaxbazaar.
11. Changes to these terms
HCDA may update event details or these terms when needed. Vendors will be notified by email of any material change.
12. Agreement
By checking the agreement box in Eventeny, or by signing below, the vendor confirms they have read and agree to these terms.
