Thank you for your interest in being part of Booked In Flag City 2027!

 

Booked In Flag City is an all-ages celebration of books, authors, reading, and the literary community. We are bringing together authors, bookish vendors, and food trucks for a full day at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Findlay, Ohio.

 

We are looking for food trucks that can provide a great food experience for our attendees throughout the event. Food trucks of various cuisines and menu styles are encouraged to apply.

Time: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM ET

 

Location: Hancock County Fairgrounds
1017 E Sandusky St, Findlay, OH 45840

 

Food truck setup will take place on Saturday, September 25th. Additional setup instructions and arrival times will be provided to accepted vendors.

 

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Food trucks will be selected based on menu variety, event needs, and overall fit with the Booked In Flag City experience. Please allow up to two weeks after submitting your application to receive a response.

About the event

Get ready for a day celebrating books, authors, reading, and the love of a good story. Booked In Flag City is bringing authors, readers, bookish vendors, and the community together for an all-ages event in Findlay, Ohio. Whether you are a lifelong reader, searching for your next favorite book, looking to meet authors, or simply love being surrounded by people who love books, there will be something for you. Meet authors from across Ohio and beyond, discover new books and bookish finds, connect with fellow readers, and enjoy a full day centered around the stories and people that make the literary community so special. But Booked In Flag City is about more than a great day for readers. It is also about giving back to our community. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Children’s Museum to help support literacy programming for both children and adults. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for local literacy efforts. With support from local community leaders, authors, partners, and Visit Findlay, we are excited to create an event that brings people together while making a positive impact right here in Hancock County. Authors Bookish Vendors Meet and Connect With Authors All Ages Welcome Supporting Local Literacy Come spend the day with us at Booked In Flag City 2027 and celebrate the stories we love while helping create more opportunities to read and learn in our community.
