About the application

Join us for the 2027 Arkansas Viking Thing! We’re excited to welcome vendors for another season of immersive, Viking-inspired fun as we continue building this growing tradition.

Our goal is to build, operate, and maintain a premier permanent Renaissance Festival site that will thrive for years to come. We’re looking for committed vendors who share that vision and are ready to invest their time, creativity, and resources in helping our community grow.

The Arkansas Viking Thing is an interactive experience featuring street performances, stage shows, and a vibrant, immersive environment. Our vendors play an important role in bringing the experience to life, helping create the atmosphere that makes the event memorable for our guests. We strive to maintain a period-inspired setting, and all participants are expected to wear period-appropriate costumes, keep modern items out of public view, and use historically inspired language when interacting with guests.

The Arkansas Viking Thing is a juried event. A nonrefundable $20 application fee is required to apply.

Vendor fees are based on the total square footage of the space assigned. A standard 10' x 10' booth starts at $200. Booth locations are assigned by festival management based on event layout, operational needs, and vendor requirements. Accepted vendors will receive their assigned space details and applicable fees as part of the acceptance process.

About the event

Come and join us for a weekend of immersive experiences centered around the viking culture! We will have a variety of entertainment, viking games, vendors, and guest interactions. Examples of entertainers include fire performers, musicians, and variety acts. Vendors will have a unique selection of handmade wares. Garb is not required by patrons but encouraged to anyone who wants to show off their furs, cloaks, and other items in the cool February weather. Please reach out if you have any questions.
