About the application

Big Ideas. Young Entrepreneurs. One Awesome Marketplace.

The C3 Young Creators Marketplace is a special vendor opportunity designed to give young entrepreneurs ages 6–17 the chance to experience what it’s like to create, sell, and operate their own small business at Chattanooga Comic Con.

This program is designed to encourage creativity, entrepreneurship, confidence, and hands-on business experience while giving young creators a place to share their work with the Chattanooga Comic Con community.

Young vendors will have the opportunity to display and sell products they have personally created while learning valuable skills such as customer service, pricing, communication, inventory management, and handling transactions.

Original & AI-Free Creations
All products must be original creations made by the young vendor. Products may not be created using generative AI, including AI-generated artwork, images, writing, or designs. The Young Creators Marketplace is about celebrating the creativity, imagination, and hands-on skills of young creators.

  • Supervising the young vendor throughout the event
  • Assisting with booth setup and breakdown
  • Facilitating transactions and helping with payment processing
  • Ensuring the young vendor follows all C3 rules and policies

  • The program is intended to give young vendors hands-on business experience.
  •  The young vendor should be actively involved in the transaction process, including taking or assisting with payments.

Parents and guardians should facilitate and supervise transactions rather than operating the booth entirely on behalf of the young vendor.

Vendor Conduct

  • Young vendors and their parent/guardians are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner.
  • All products, displays, signage, and activities must be appropriate for an all-ages event and comply with Chattanooga Comic Con policies.
  • Chattanooga Comic Con reserves the right to determine whether a product or activity is appropriate for the Young Creators Marketplace.
  • If a member of the Chattanooga Comic Con staff determines that a product violates these terms, falls outside the intended artisan category, or otherwise does not comply with C3 policies, the young vendor may be required to remove the product from their display.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved, Chattanooga Comic Con reserves the right to require the young vendor to close their booth and break down their vendor area.

Our Goal
The C3 Young Creators Marketplace is about more than selling products.

It's about giving the next generation of artists, makers, writers, designers, and entrepreneurs a chance to put their ideas into the world.

We want young creators to experience the excitement of making something, putting a price on it, talking to customers, making a sale, and realizing:

"I made this. I built this. I can do this."

Chattanooga Comic Con is proud to support the next generation of creators and entrepreneurs.
