Live Performer Applications 2027
About the application
The City of Tuscaloosa is excited to welcome live performers for the 2027 Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF) and the 13th annual Live at the Plaza (LATP) summer concert series at Government Plaza. Any live performer wishing to showcase their talents at either event should apply using this form.
Applications are due on Monday, February 1st 2027.
Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF) will take place at Government Plaza on Saturday, April 10th, 10 a.m.- 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 11th, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. DCAF is a free two-day arts and music festival featuring artists, live performances, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
Live at the Plaza is scheduled every Friday evening in May and June from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the following dates: May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18, and June 25.
Please select any and all dates that you are available and interested in performing. Performance times will depend on the number of performers approved. You will receive more information about your specific performance time in your approval email.
All applications must include a link to a website or online video that demonstrates at least three live songs being performed. If no online channel is available, applicants may submit a jump drive or CD that includes a live recording of at least three songs. This can be mailed to or dropped off at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater Box Office at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm. A selection committee will review all completed applications after the deadline. All applicants will be notified once selections are made.

About the event
Terms & Conditions
Selected performers will be required to enter into an agreement with the City of Tuscaloosa, to be completed no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled performance, and provide a current W-9 and invoice to the City at least three weeks prior to performance date. Payment will be in the form of a check and will be delivered to the performer on event day.
Cancellation policy: Once an agreement has been executed, the performer will receive a deposit for the engagement. In the event the performer cancels the engagement, performer must return the deposit. In the event the City cancels the engagement, City shall forfeit the deposit. If the engagement is cancelled after the event start time, the City agrees to pay 100 percent of the performer fee.
The City will contract with a production company for sound and lighting and details for production will be included in the confirmation email.
