The Local Habit is bringing a weekly farmers market to Northlake in Lake Nona.
This isn't a one-time pop-up. It's a market designed to become part of the neighborhood's weekly routine. A place where residents can stop by after work, families can spend the evening together, and local businesses can become the businesses people know by name.
We're creating an evening market where neighbors can pick up fresh produce and goods for home, support local businesses, meet the people behind the brands, and spend time in their own community.

Interested in becoming a vendor? Here's what you need to know:
• No hot food tents or food trucks are permitted at this location.
• Produce, farm goods, breads, baked goods, and other approved take-home or packaged food products are welcome.
• Local makers, artisans, wellness businesses, artists, home and garden businesses, and other small businesses are encouraged to apply.
• Vendors must commit to the full month so the community has an opportunity to get to know and support your business.
• Active promotion is expected. Building a successful market is a collaborative effort, and every participating business plays a role in bringing the community out.
• This is a long-term weekly farmers market, not a one-time pop-up. We're looking for businesses that want to plant roots, build relationships, and grow alongside the Lake Nona community.

Northlake Farmers Market | Lake Nona
By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Vendor Terms & Conditions.
1. Application & Acceptance
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the market. The Local Habit reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion to maintain a balanced vendor mix and create the best possible experience for guests.
Applications are not accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Vendor Fees, Monthly Commitment & Payment
Northlake Farmers Market operates on a monthly commitment model. Vendors accepted into the market are reserving their space for each weekly market during the selected month.
Payment is due immediately upon approval.
If payment is not received, The Local Habit will send one payment reminder. Vendors will then have 24 hours to complete payment. If payment is not received within that timeframe, the reserved space will be forfeited and may be offered to another business without further notice.
Monthly vendor fees reserve your space for the entire month and may not be split, prorated, or applied to individual market dates.
3. No Refunds, Transfers, Credits & Missed Markets
Because vendor spaces are reserved for the entire month, all payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-prorated.
If a vendor is unable to attend one or more markets during their reserved month, no refunds, credits, make-up dates, or partial reimbursements will be issued.
Monthly fees reserve your space regardless of attendance, including but not limited to illness, emergencies, scheduling conflicts, weather, low sales, low attendance, late arrival, or removal from the market for failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
4. Monthly Attendance Commitment
By joining Northlake Farmers Market, vendors agree to participate in each weekly market during the month they have reserved.
Consistency is one of the foundations of this market. Our goal is for Lake Nona residents to recognize returning businesses, build relationships with vendors, and create shopping habits that benefit everyone.
Repeated absences, frequent late arrivals, or failure to fulfill your monthly commitment may affect future participation and renewal opportunities.
5. Arrival, Parking, Check-In & Setup
Vendor setup begins at 4:00 PM. The market opens at 5:00 PM.
All vendors must park first and walk their items to the market area.
There is no vendor unloading or drop-off at or near the setup area. Vendors may not pull up to their assigned booth space to unload.
Upon arrival, vendors must:
Park in an available designated parking space.
Walk all items and equipment from their vehicle to the market check-in area.
Check in with The Local Habit team before beginning setup.
Wait to be directed to their assigned vendor space before setting up.
Vendors are strongly encouraged to bring a wagon, cart, or other equipment to transport their items from their vehicle.
Vendors must arrive with enough time to transport their items and have their booth completely ready before the market opens at 5:00 PM.
Late setup will not be accommodated once the market has opened.
6. Booth Requirements
Booth spaces are limited to 10' x 10' unless otherwise approved.
All tents must be secured with a minimum of 10 pounds of weight per leg at all times.
Vendors are responsible for providing all equipment needed for their booth, including tents, tables, chairs, displays, lighting, extension cords, and other setup materials.
Because Northlake Farmers Market takes place during the evening, vendors are responsible for providing adequate booth lighting as needed.
Booths must remain within their assigned space and may not obstruct neighboring vendors, entrances, walkways, or emergency access areas.
7. Approved Food & Agricultural Products
Hot food tents, food trucks, and on-site cooking or food preparation are not permitted at this location.
Approved categories may include:
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Farm and agricultural products
Eggs
Meat and seafood products where permitted
Dairy and cheese products where permitted
Breads and baked goods
Honey
Jams, jellies, sauces, seasonings, and other packaged specialty foods
Other approved packaged or take-home food products
All products must be disclosed and approved through the vendor application. Vendors may not add or sell products that were not approved by The Local Habit.
Vendors selling edible, packaged, or agricultural products are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, inspections, certifications, insurance, and other approvals required for their specific products and business.
8. Vendor Engagement & Conduct
Northlake Farmers Market is intentionally creating a place where Lake Nona residents know one another, support local businesses, and look forward to returning each week.
Our vendors are more than businesses renting space. They are an essential part of the experience.
Vendors are expected to:
Be welcoming and approachable.
Stand and engage with guests whenever possible.
Smile, answer questions, and create conversation.
Maintain a clean and inviting booth.
Participate in themed market days and community activities when applicable.
Help create an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone attending.
We do not view our vendors as simply service providers. We view them as partners helping build a long-term community tradition.
All vendors are expected to treat guests, fellow vendors, staff, volunteers, property partners, and The Local Habit team with professionalism, kindness, and respect at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, offensive language, intoxication, illegal activity, or conduct inconsistent with the values of The Local Habit will not be tolerated.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in removal from the market and/or denial of future participation without refund.
9. Respecting Our Shared Space
Each vendor is responsible for keeping their booth clean throughout the market and removing all trash, boxes, inventory, packaging, and other waste before leaving.
Please leave your space cleaner than you found it.
10. Health & Safety
Vendors agree to operate safely and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Vendors must:
Keep booths clean and organized.
Keep walkways, entrances, and emergency access routes clear.
Maintain properly weighted tents throughout the market.
Properly store and handle any edible or temperature-controlled products.
Follow all applicable food safety and health requirements for products being sold.
Report accidents, injuries, emergencies, or safety concerns to The Local Habit team immediately.
11. Marketing & Promotion
Northlake Farmers Market is built through collaboration.
The Local Habit invests resources into advertising, partnerships, community outreach, signage, social media, and market promotion. We expect every participating vendor to actively market both their business and the market.
By participating, vendors agree to:
Create a minimum of two social media posts each week promoting the market.
Share reminders, reels, stories, or other content leading up to each market whenever possible.
Promote participation beyond social media through email, newsletters, text messages, customer conversations, flyers, community groups, and word-of-mouth.
Tag Northlake Farmers Market and The Local Habit whenever applicable.
Invite customers, family, friends, and supporters to attend.
The strongest markets are built when every business contributes to bringing the community out.
Failure to actively promote your participation may affect future participation and renewal opportunities.
12. Attendance, Sales & Foot Traffic
The Local Habit does not guarantee attendance, foot traffic, leads, or sales.
Attendance is influenced by weather, holidays, competing events, vendor participation, community engagement, and the collective marketing efforts of everyone involved.
While The Local Habit actively promotes Northlake Farmers Market, every vendor is expected to promote their own participation.
Please understand that each business serves a different audience. One vendor may have a line while another experiences slower traffic. This does not mean the market was unsuccessful or that those customers were your target audience.
Because this is a recurring weekly market, vendors are encouraged to measure success over the course of the month rather than a single market. Customer relationships are built through consistency, and returning each week allows businesses to gain recognition, repeat customers, and long-term growth.
Vendors are encouraged to create engaging experiences through demonstrations, samples when permitted, specials, bundles, giveaways, and themed promotions.
13. Photography & Media Release
By participating, vendors grant The Local Habit permission to photograph and record their booth, products, branding, employees, representatives, and participation for promotional, educational, website, print, and social media purposes without additional compensation.
14. Weather Policy
Northlake Farmers Market is held rain or shine unless otherwise announced by The Local Habit.
Vendors are responsible for preparing for changing weather conditions, including rain, heat, wind, and changing temperatures.
The Local Habit reserves the right to delay, cancel, close early, or make other operational changes when conditions create a safety concern.
15. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Vendors participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their property, equipment, inventory, employees, representatives, and guests.
The Local Habit, the property owner or management, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and affiliates shall not be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, personal injury, business interruption, or other losses except where required by applicable law.
16. Right to Refuse or Remove
The Local Habit reserves the right to refuse any application or remove any vendor, with or without notice, if the vendor:
Violates these Terms & Conditions.
Creates an unsafe environment.
Acts dishonestly or unprofessionally.
Misrepresents products or services.
Sells products that were not approved through their application.
Fails to follow directions from market staff.
Fails to meet monthly participation expectations.
Engages in conduct inconsistent with the mission and culture of The Local Habit.
Removal does not entitle the vendor to a refund, transfer, or credit.
17. Agreement
By submitting this application, you certify that all information provided is accurate and complete and that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Vendor Terms & Conditions and any additional Northlake Farmers Market instructions communicated by The Local Habit before or during your participation.

I understand that The Local Habit does NOT guarantee sales, profits, customers, or foot traffic. It is my responsibility to market and promote my own business before and during the market. Each business participating is responsible for creating awareness of their presence, engaging with customers, and promoting their own products or services. I understand that The Local Habit provides the market space, overall marketplace marketing, and community exposure throughout Orlando and surrounding areas; however, this is not a guaranteed sales opportunity where vendors should rely solely on The Local Habit, its organizers, or partners to provide customers, sales, or individual business promotion.
- I understand that late arrivals will NOT be permitted to set up and that booth sharing is NOT permitted unless previously approved by The Local Habit team. I understand that misconduct, unsafe behavior, disrespect, or disruptive conduct may result in removal from the market and possible trespassing from the property. I understand there are NO refunds, transfers, credits, or exchanges under any circumstances. I understand payment is due within 24 hours of approval or my spot may be released to another vendor. I understand that The Local Habit is a community-driven market and vendors are expected to be friendly, communicative, respectful, and contribute positively to the atmosphere of the market. I also acknowledge that this application is for consideration only and submission does not guarantee acceptance into the market.
- I understand that all tent vendors must have a 10x10 tent or smaller and MUST have proper tent weights attached at all times (40 lb minimum required). I understand that all food vendors must comply with all State of Florida permits, licenses, and health requirements. I understand that NO open flames, drugs, alcohol, or smoking are permitted at the market. I understand that I am responsible for following all vendor guidelines and requirements to participate in The Local Habit marketplace. By checking this box, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to follow all vendor rules and requirements.
