Rescue Booth

This application is for a 10 x 10 outdoor booth space. 

All vendor spaces include access to electric and water at no additional charge. (You must provide your own extension cord / hose.)

Includes 1 year online directory listing.

Rescue & Animal Welfare Agreement
This agreement applies to all rescue organizations participating in BunFest. Submitting this application serves as your electronic acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. You will receive notification of approval, rejection or waitlist status after your application has been reviewed.

Fees

There is no application or booth fee for approved 501(c)(3) rescue organizations.

Booth Space

Rescue booths are approximately 10' x 10' outdoor spaces. Final locations and event-day details will be provided prior to the event.

Animal Welfare Requirements
The health, safety and comfort of every animal at BunFest must take priority over display, education, fundraising or attendee interaction.

1. Animals must have access to fresh water at all times.
2. Animals must be provided with appropriate shelter, secure containment and the ability to rest or retreat from public interaction.
3. Interaction with attendees must always be based on the individual animal's comfort and consent. Animals should never be restrained, repeatedly handled, passed between attendees or required to participate in interactions when they are showing signs of stress or attempting to retreat.
4. Participating organizations are responsible for continuously monitoring their animals for signs of stress, overheating, chilling, fatigue or other welfare concerns and must immediately modify or discontinue participation when necessary.
5. No same-day or unapproved adoptions may take place at BunFest. Any adoption completed or animal released to an adopter during the event must have been fully approved by the participating rescue before the event through that organization's normal adoption process. BunFest may be used to meet animals, provide information and begin future adoption conversations.
6. Animals considered predators or a potential threat to rabbits may not be brought to the event. BunFest is a rabbit-centered event with rabbits present throughout the festival.
7. Animals must remain safely contained or appropriately controlled within designated areas. Participating organizations are responsible for preventing escapes and unsafe interactions between animals.
8. Fairytale Farm reserves the right to require an animal to be removed from public interaction or from the event if there is a concern regarding the animal's welfare or the safety or welfare of other animals or attendees.

Event Requirements
1. Rescue organizations are responsible for supervising their booth and animals at all times.

2. Outdoor tents must be safely anchored throughout the event with a minimum of 40 pounds of weight per tent leg. Improperly secured tents must be weighted properly or taken down.
3. Participants must follow all event instructions regarding setup, breakdown, parking, animal areas and emergency procedures.
4. Participants should plan to remain through the scheduled end of the event. Animal welfare takes precedence: an organization may leave early or remove individual animals if weather, stress or another welfare concern makes continued participation inappropriate.
5. BunFest is planned as a rain-or-shine event. Participating rescues remain responsible for determining whether conditions are appropriate for the individual animals in their care and following any weather-related instructions issued by Fairytale Farm.
6. Participating organizations agree to help promote BunFest when reasonably possible.

Liability
All organizations participate at their own risk and are responsible for their animals, representatives, property, insurance and applicable liability coverage. Fairytale Farm Rescue & Sanctuary and the City of High Point disclaim liability to the extent permitted by law.

Agreement
Fairytale Farm reserves the right to remove an organization or individual from BunFest, or decline future participation, when these requirements are not followed or when Fairytale Farm determines that an animal's welfare or event safety is at risk.

By submitting this application, I confirm that I am authorized to participate on behalf of the organization listed and that our organization agrees to follow the BunFest Rescue & Animal Welfare Agreement if accepted.
