About the application
Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon in Downtown Bastrop! Boo Bash is Bastrop’s Halloween celebration, bringing families together for an afternoon of costumes, trick-or-treating, activities, and plenty of Halloween fun.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate as Activity Booths, providing a fun, interactive activity for children and families to enjoy throughout the event. Activity booths should offer a hands-on, engaging experience that fits the Halloween theme and encourages attendees to stop by and participate.

📍 Event Location: Downtown Bastrop (Main St. & Spring St.)
🕔 Event Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
👥 Expected Attendance: Approximately 5,000 attendees
🎃 Event Activities: Trunk-or-treat, activity booths, bounce houses, and food court
Activity booth participants are required to provide an activity for attendees. Small giveaway items, such as toys, stickers, or candy, are highly encouraged!

Vendor Release, Indemnity & Hold Harmless Agreement
I fully understand that my participation in the 2026 City of Bastrop Boo Bash presents exposure to the risk of personal injury, death, or property damage. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and agree to assume all risks.
I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to sue the City of Bastrop, its officials, officers, agents, employees, representatives, or volunteers for any injury, death, or loss of property arising out of or connected with participation in the event, including negligence.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims arising out of my participation, including injuries or damages caused in whole or in part by the intentional acts, negligence, or recklessness of the Released Parties.
I understand participants may be photographed or recorded at the event and grant full permission for such media to be used by the City of Bastrop for promotional purposes.
I certify that I have read the 2026 Boo Bash Vendor Guidelines, understand all expectations, and agree to comply with all event rules, instructions, and requirements. I certify all information submitted in this application is true and correct.

- I understand vehicles are not permitted inside the event area and I must dolly in my equipment from assigned parking.
- I understand I must provide my own tent, tables, chairs, and equipment.
- I understand setup is between 12PM-1:30PM and no vendor will be admitted after 1:30PM.
- I understand early teardown before 6:00 PM is not allowed.
- I acknowledge that participation in the 2026 City of Bastrop TX Boo Bash event is voluntary and involves risk, which I knowingly assume. I release, waive, and agree to hold harmless the City of Bastrop, its officials, employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims or liability arising from my participation, including negligence, and I agree to indemnify the City of Bastrop from any such claims. I grant permission for photos, video, or other media captured during the event to be used by the City of Bastrop. I certify that I have read and agree to the 2026 Bastrop TX Boo Bash Vendor Guidelines, will comply with all rules, and am responsible for required licenses, permits, and insurance. Typing my full legal name below constitutes my electronic signature and agreement to these terms.
