2026 CJJF Non-Profit Organization Application

Be part of the 2026 Central Jersey Jazz Festival in Downtown Plainfield on Sunday, October 4! We invite nonprofit organizations, community groups, civic organizations, and public-serving agencies to apply for a table at this free regional celebration of jazz, arts, culture, and community.

Participating organizations will have the opportunity to connect with festivalgoers, share information about their programs and services, and engage with residents and visitors from Plainfield, Union County, and throughout Central Jersey. Space is limited, and all applications are subject to review and approval.

By submitting this application, the applicant agrees to the following:

• Participation is free of charge, but space is limited. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are subject to review and approval by festival organizers.
• Approved organizations may use their assigned space to provide information about their programs, services, or community initiatives. Retail sales, fundraising activities, raffles, or solicitation may not be permitted without prior approval from event organizers.
• Participants are responsible for providing their own tent, tables, chairs, signage, displays, and other materials unless otherwise stated. All tents must be properly secured and comply with applicable event and safety requirements.
• Participants must remain within their assigned space and may not obstruct sidewalks, pedestrian routes, neighboring vendors, emergency access, or other festival operations.
• Approved participants must comply with all festival rules and instructions provided by Downtown Plainfield, the Central Jersey Jazz Festival, the City of Plainfield, and applicable public safety officials.
• Organizations are responsible for the conduct of their staff and volunteers and for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional display area throughout the event.
• Participants must arrive, set up, and break down during the designated times provided by festival organizers. Early breakdown may not be permitted except in an emergency or with organizer approval.
• The Central Jersey Jazz Festival is scheduled to take place rain or shine. Event organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to severe weather, public safety concerns, emergencies, or circumstances beyond their control.
• Participants are responsible for their own property and equipment. Downtown Plainfield, the Central Jersey Jazz Festival, and their partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
• By participating, the applicant grants permission for photographs and video taken during the festival that may include their booth, organization, staff, or volunteers to be used for event promotion and related marketing purposes.
