Artist/Maker Application

Art Garden KC is heading back to the Crossroads for an exciting third year! We’re bringing our neighborhood pop-up to Beggars Table, an open and inclusive church/gallery space committed to supporting and celebrating local artists! 

Beggars Bazaar is a one of a kind opportunity for artists and makers to display and sell their work in a popular gallery space in the heart of Crossroads KC ❤️

We’re bringing together a fun mix of local artists, makers, and creatives for an evening of art, connection, and community. Come show off your work, meet fellow creatives, and connect with new audiences! 🎨🖼️

Date: November 6 th

Time: 6pm - 9pm (load-in & set-up at 4pm) (teardown after 9pm)

Location: Beggars Table Gallery - 2010 Baltimore Ave, Kansas City 64108

Booth Fee: $20 per applicant 

Event Details:
This is a curated event with very limited space where artists/makers will be selected based on type and quality of art/products. Makers & Fine Artists are welcome to apply!  The application will be open from 9/9/26 to 10/9/26 @ 11:00pm. There is never an application fee to apply for an Art Garden KC event.  Gallery style, indoor tabling event with a limited amount of wall space available to display "ready-to-hang" pieces.  All vendors are required to bring a 6-8 foot table, chairs (however, the event space has chairs to use if you desire) and tablecloths.  Chosen vendors will be assigned a spot inside the gallery.  Vendors that wish to request a gallery wall behind your table display please note your request in the application special instructions and mark the appropriate box. About the Application:You will be charged immediately upon approval, so please make sure you have funds on the credit/debit card attached to your application when you apply. If your card declines, you will be placed on the waitlist and we will select the next vendor in line.

Waitlist Procedures

You may be placed on the waitlist if there are no available spaces. If placed on the waitlist, you may be notified via email if there is a cancellation and be offered the opportunity to vend. If you accept, you will only be charged for the event and added to the map.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• No refunds will be given for this event if a vendor cancels prior to the event or "no call, no shows".
• In the event of weather cancellations determined by the Art Garden KC management team, vendors will be notified via email and refunds will be issued to all vendors.
• Please notify the team via email (hello@artgardenkc.org) or message via Eventeny.com at least 24 hours before the event. No Call, No Shows will receive a mark on their account which may limit your ability to vend at our curated events.
• Late notice must be given before 3:30 p.m. Late arrivals after 3:30 p.m. and without notice will not be guaranteed entry.

Vendor spots are reserved for artists and makers ONLY, must be a resident of Kansas City or live with-in a 50 mile radius of Kansas City, MO. Food vendors will not be accepted at this location.

Product Limitations

• Products should be generally family friendly, no obscure sexual depictions, nudity must be tasteful or abstract. If an item in your inventory is questionable - leave it at home or display out of eyeline of young children.
• No unaltered trademarked, logo’d, or licensed images or products. Items utilizing such images must be altered in such a way that they are distinguishable from the original design.

General Expectations 

• Arrive on time and stay set up until 9 p.m. Emergency situations will be taken into consideration at the discretion of the AGKC Team member on-site, please alert us if you need to leave early due to an emergency.
• Clean up after yourself, your family/friends.
• Be respectful to staff, event patrons and other vendors.

Setup & Logistics

• Vendor spaces are assigned, look for your vendor name labeled on the floor. 

• All vendor spaces will be 8x4ft with enough space to sit behind tables - please bring your own tables, chairs or use the provided chairs, and tablecloths.  (only chairs are available to borrow, not any tables or tablecloths)

• For those that requested wall space, to hang items, the Beggars Table staff will be available to assist. 

Load-in/out & Parking

• Load in will be from 4:00-5:30 p.m., load-out from 9:00-10:30 p.m.

• Parking is limited to street parking, so arrive early. 

• The freight elevator will be available to use for load-in ONLY from 4-5:30pm. Unfortunately, we will not have use of the elevator for load-out. If vendors want to load out without the elevator when the event closes at 9, there will be many volunteers available to help carry items down the stairs. If you need to use the elevator for load out, you can leave your items overnight and come back to use the elevator the next day from 12pm-2pm.
