B26 Exhibition Application
About the application
Created in 2019 by curator Kirk Shannon-Butts to highlight emerging contemporary artists in Baltimore, the B series — B stands for both ‘best’ and ‘Baltimore’ — has grown into a juried exhibition open to Baltimore area-based artists creating in all mediums across a multitude of artistic disciplines.
B26 provides a glimpse into the best and brightest living and working artists in the region. Featured artists work in painting, textiles, mixed media, photography, film, video, mixed media, and animation. They are all in various stages of their careers.
The B26 Best of Baltimore exhibition is produced through a collaboration between Create Baltimore and Quid Nunc Gallery. The exhibition will take place at Quid Nunc from October 16 through November 1, 2026.
One artist featured in the exhibition will be selected as "Best in Show." The selected Best in Show artist will receive:
- An award of $1,000.00
- One (1) year of representation by Quid Nunc Gallery
- A solo exhibition at Quid Nunc within the year of representation
- A discounted one-year studio lease at the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower.
