Great events don't happen because of one person. They're built by people who care about their communities and are willing to show up for one another.

The Hearthara Culinary Volunteer Program connects community members with opportunities to support Hearthara Culinary events, programs, and community initiatives throughout the year.

Volunteers may assist with guest experience, event setup, check-in, information, community activities, hospitality, event support, cleanup, and other designated volunteer opportunities.

You don't need professional event experience to apply. We're looking for people who are dependable, welcoming, willing to help, and excited to be part of creating positive experiences for our community.

HOW IT WORKS
Complete the annual Volunteer Program application once.

Tell us about yourself, your interests, availability, preferred locations, and the types of volunteer opportunities that interest you.

As opportunities become available throughout the year, Hearthara Culinary may contact volunteers whose interests and availability align with the needs of a particular event or project.

Accepting an individual opportunity is voluntary. If you accept an assignment, however, we're counting on you to show up, communicate, and help us take care of the people around you.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES MAY INCLUDE
Event setup and preparation, guest welcome and information, check-in, hospitality, community activities, wayfinding, vendor support, event-area monitoring, cleanup and breakdown, and other appropriate event or community support.

IMPORTANT
Submitting this application does not guarantee a volunteer assignment.

Individual events and assignments may have different schedules, age requirements, physical requirements, locations, responsibilities, or other participation requirements.

Volunteer opportunities are unpaid and do not earn Vendor Ambassador Credits.

If you are a Hearthara vendor interested in earning Ambassador Credits through approved Ambassador Services, please apply separately to the Hearthara Vendor Ambassador Program.

That last distinction needs to remain everywhere. We don't want the Volunteer and Ambassador systems becoming muddy.

Terms & Conditions
By submitting this application, I understand that participation in the Hearthara Culinary Volunteer Program is voluntary and unpaid and that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or a volunteer assignment.

If I accept a volunteer assignment, I agree to arrive at the designated time and location, follow assignment instructions, communicate promptly if my availability changes, and conduct myself professionally and respectfully toward guests, vendors, volunteers, partners, venue personnel, and Hearthara Culinary team members.

I understand that volunteer assignments may vary by event and may include different schedules, locations, responsibilities, physical activity, outdoor conditions, and operational requirements. I will only accept assignments I am comfortable performing and will follow all applicable Hearthara Culinary, venue, event, health, safety, and emergency procedures.

I understand that volunteer participation does not earn compensation, Hearthara Vendor Ambassador Credits, vendor-fee waivers, guaranteed event access, employment, or future paid opportunities.

Hearthara Culinary reserves the right to approve, decline, reassign, suspend, or discontinue volunteer participation when necessary for safety, operations, conduct, reliability, or the best interests of the event, organization, or community.
