Thank you for your interest in participating in the Trunk or Treat at Gun Barrel City's Haunt Fest on October 24, 2026! This exciting event invites community members, local businesses, and organizations to join in the Halloween fun by decorating their vehicles and handing out candy to children.

Event Details:

· Date: October 24, 2026

· Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Setup begins at 4:00 PM, vehicles must be in place by 5:00 PM)

· Location: GBC Park, Gun Barrel City

Participation Requirements:

· Decorate your vehicle in a fun, spooky, or creative Halloween theme.

· Provide candy or treats for distribution to children attending the event.

· Ensure your vehicle is parked and set up by 5:00 PM on the day of the event.

Kids’ Area: Bring the little ones to our dedicated Kids’ Area, where they can enjoy age-appropriate games, bounce houses, and other fun activities in a safe and supervised environment. Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions:

By Submitting an application to participate in the Gun Barrel City Haunt Fest: Trunk or Treat Event, you agree to the following terms & conditions:

1. Eligibility:

· Participation is open to individuals, Businesses, and organizations. All participants must register in advance.

· All vehicles and displays must be family-friendly and suitable for all ages. The event organizers reserve the right to request modifications or deny participation if the theme or decorations are deemed inappropriate.

2. Registration and Fees:

· There is no fee to participate in the Trunk or Treat event.

· All participants must submit a completed application form by the registration deadline, October 21, 2026.

3. Vehicle and Display Setup:

· Participants must arrive at the event venue and have their vehicles in place by 5:00 PM on October 26, 2026. Late arrivals may not be allowed to participate.

· Vehicles must remain in the designated area for the duration of the event (from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM). Early departure is not permitted unless authorized by event staff.

· Decorations must be secure and not pose any safety hazards. Use of open flames, fireworks, or other potentially dangerous items is strictly prohibited.

4. Candy and Treat Distribution:

· Participants are responsible for providing candy or treats to distribute to children during the event all treats MUST be pre-packaged and store bought. Homemade Treats are NOT allowed.

· Participants are encouraged to bring enough candy to accommodate up to 3,000 attendees.

  • Bulk candy can be purchased from vendors such as Oriental Trading.

5. Conduct & Safety:

· Vehicles must be parked in the assigned area, and all participants must follow the parking and traffic flow guidelines provided by the event staff.

· Once parked, vehicles cannot be moved until the conclusion of the event, unless directed by event staff.

7. Liability

· Gun Barrel City, event organizers, and their affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the event.

· Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gun Barrel City and its representatives from any claims arising out of their participation in the event.

8. Cancellation & Modifications:

· The event organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather or safety concerns.

· Participants will be notified of any changes or cancellations as soon as possible.
