 Anime Detour's Artist Alley Application will be open for about two weeks (August 17–31, 2026). Please note that an application approval does not guarantee a space. Payment will only be processed upon acceptance.

Acceptance status will be released Nov./Dec. 2026. These booths are intended for artists of original and branded products that relate to the culture of anime, art, and Japan/Korea/China.

Anime Detour's Artist Alley acceptance process: Since there are so many wonderful and amazing artist applications, our jury staff will always select more artists than there are available spaces. We will first choose applications that fit our criteria of anime, art, originality, style, manga, manhwa, and so on. Then, to ensure fairness, artists will be chosen at random from our preapproved artist list. You will automatically be placed on the waiting list if not accepted. All applicants will receive an email regarding their acceptance status by early December, 2026. By applying to Anime Detour's Artist Alley, you are accepting the terms and conditions and the attached contract.

1. All tables are 6 feet by 30 inches and will not be covered with tablecloth. Each table comes with 2 chairs. No more than 2 chairs can be behind the table.

2. Per hotel safety regulations, booths cannot be taller than 12 feet.

3. Electricity and phone services are not included with the initial table cost; you will be charged on-site fees if found using these services without prior arrangements through the hotel.

4. Artists are free to arrange their space as they see fit and may supply their own racks and chairs at no additional cost. Artists must stay within the space that is allotted to them; artists may not let their table or display items bleed into another artist's space. Anime Detour reserves the right to approve the setup, including TVs, speakers, tables, and so on. Whether an artist's table is bleeding outside of their assigned space is up to the jurisdiction of Artist Alley staff.

5. For the safety of attendees, do not place any advertising or displays in the Artist Alley aisles. Advertising or displays must remain inside the allotted space. Violating this rule could lead to ejection from the convention.

6. Music is prohibited from being played by artists during business hours.

7. Table sharing is prohibited at Artist Alley.

8. The convention will not rent space in the Artist Alley to any person under the age of 18 years.

9. Artists will be charged the table fee and any additional badge fee upon acceptance.

10. We ask that artists do not make plans to attend Anime Detour until they have received their email confirmation. By applying, you are accepting the terms and conditions.
