Welcome to the Last Minute Holiday Shopping Market Event!

Please note this vendor market is not open to Direct Sales or Multi Level Marketing Representatives.
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating, approving, and agreeing to this agreement with Sun Poppy Markets & Events.
Jewelry: must be handmade, no wholesale bulk order items. Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural. Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.
Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. If your booth is displaying jewelry and you were not approved to, you willbe asked to remove it from your booth.
Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.
Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

Cottage Baker's must have their Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit with Tuolumne County. Vendor is responsible for obtaining their Temporary Food Facility Permit with Tuolumne County and supplying a copy to Sun Poppy Markets & Events prior to the event.

Vendor applications will be reviewed; vendor limits will be adhered to when reviewing applications for each medium category.
NO ITEMS will be allowed if not on the vendor application. If you do not list it, you will not be allowed to sell it.
Set up for the Holiday Market will be on Friday 12/18/26 and Saturday 12/19/26, time to be announced as the event gets closer.
Tear down for the Holiday Market: Saturday as soon as guests have finished shopping. 4pm is acceptable if you do not have any guests. All vendors are to be packed and out of the building by 5:30pm. Vendor is responsible for keeping vendor space clean of debris and packaging. If vendor has boxes to discard, they MUST be broken down flat and put in the proper receptacle, please ask where to dispose of cardboard. Vendor is responsible for keeping with-in their space, NO signs or displays may be placed outside of vendor booth space in the aisles.
Please be aware the lighting in the event building is not great, vendors are to provide their own additional lighting if desired. Electricity is not available at all vendor booths, if electricity is required for additional lighting it is the vendors responsibility to choose a space with electricity (wall spaces) or provide their own portable power source, generators are NOT ALLOWED.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Sun Poppy Markets & Events (hereinafter referred to as “SPME”) and You and Your Company (hereinafter referred to as “Vendor”) mutually agree to the following: Once the vendor application has been approved and accepted, the Application/Contract constitutes a legally binding agreement between SPME and you the applying Vendor for the checked events only. Payment is due at the time of approval of the Artisan Application. Vendor is responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits, and for collecting and reporting all sales tax in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Vendor is responsible for supplying all booth items for themselves including but not limited to a pop-up tent or canopy, tables, chairs, table covers, lights, display items, etc. Please be aware the lighting in the event building is not great, vendors are to provide their own additional lighting if desired. Electricity is not available at all vendor booths, if electricity is required for additional lighting it is the vendors responsibility to choose a space with electricity (wall spaces) or provide their own portable power source, generators are NOT ALLOWED.
Vendor agrees to abide by all published set up and tear down times and market hours. Early tear down is strictly prohibited and may result in vendor not being invited to future SPME markets. Vendor must be in their booth and ready for guests at least 15 minutes before the market opens at 10:00am; failure to do so may result in cancellation of vendor booth without refund. Tear down for the Holiday Market: Saturday as soon as guests have finished shopping. 4pm is acceptable if you do not have any guests. All vendors are to be packed and out of the building by 5:30pm. Vendor is responsible for keeping vendor space clean of debris and packaging. No refunds or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances once this contract is signed by you the vendor and approved by SPME. All vendor booth sales for market events hosted by SPME are final. Once a vendor booth has been reserved and paid for (application submitted by vendor and approved by SPME) there will be no refunds issued under any circumstances, including cancellations by the vendor.
No Transfer Policy: Vendor booth reservations are non-transferable. This means once a booth has been purchased, it cannot be transferred to another party, vendor or event.
Facility Policies: All pertinent fire codes, laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to health, fire prevention and public safety shall be strictly obeyed and enforced. No open flame of any kind is permitted within the market event building or on the fairgrounds property. All tent canopy's must be fire safe if using one (material or sprayed with retardant).
Vendor Booth/Space: Vendor agrees to be set up and ready for guests at 9:45am. Vendor agrees not to close prior to 4:00pm. Vendors closing early may not be invited to future SPME vendor opportunities. Vendor spaces are 10x10. Booth must be manned during the market event hours, contact SPME if you need a break.
Vendor may not display items outside of their assigned space, encroach upon or into their neighbor's space, or block a neighboring vendor's space.
Sandwich board types of signs are NOT allowed in the building due to space limitations. If placing a sandwich board near the doors outside of the building, it MUST NOT block the door(s), be a tripping hazard, or be forgotten/left behind. Any sandwich board(s) that are left behind by a vendor at the venue will become the property of SPME, PLEASE be sure to remember your sandwich board(s).
Amendment/Termination of Contract: SPME shall have full power to interpret and/or to amend any and all rules and regulations. Agreement may be terminated by SPME at any time when/if any of the conditions are breached by the vendor. Any payments made by the vendor prior to termination shall be retained by SPME. SPME reserves the right to resell said booth space.
Vendor Photos: Photos submitted by vendor may be used by SPME for advertising the market or event.
SPME reserves the right to adjust/change floor/event plans or reassign booth space at any time to accommodate the market event's needs.
No exclusive product or category rights are guaranteed unless a request is submitted by you the vendor to SPME and approved in writing by SPME. NOTE: SPECIAL REQUESTS MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR ORIGINAL APPLICATION IN THE SPECIAL REQUEST SPACE PROVIDED.
Any and all illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal of vendor and booth without refund.
Vendor may not distribute promotional materials outside their assigned space without written approval from SPME.
Electricity: Vendors in the middle spaces (in the middle of the building) are responsible for providing their own power if they require power (GENERATORS are NOT ALLOWED in the building). Vendors who select a WALL SPACE will have elecricity (one outlet per vendor space). Extension cords MUST be covered with a non-slip rug or tape to avoid being a tripping hazard. Tape MUST BE REMOVED and all sticky residue must be removed by vendor. If sticky residue remains after vendor departs, a cleaning fee will be assessed (see below).
Vendor booth space must be left in the same condition upon leaving market as when arriving. There will be a minimum $200.00 fee charged for the following, but not limited to trash disposal, damage to floor or walls, floor clean up (sticky residue from tape, drink spills, etc.).
If applicable, vendor is responsible for obtaining their Temporary Food Facility Permit with Tuolumne County and supplying a copy to Sun Poppy Markets & Events prior to the event.

Liability & Insurance: Liability Insurance is not required but is highly encouraged. Vendor is responsible for their actions and liability inside and within six (6) feet of their booth unless that space overlaps with a neighboring vendor space.
Sun Poppy Markets & Events and Peitra Rice assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Vendor agrees to hold Sun Poppy Markets & Events, Peitra Rice, the Mother Lode Fairgrounds, the State of California, and its employees and representatives harmless from all liability, including bodily injury, property damage, or any claim arising from Vendor’s participation.
Market Coordinator (SPME) Rights: SPME reserves the right to refuse participation and/or an application to/from any vendor, group, business, or organization.
SPME does not guarantee market attendance, weather, or vendor sales.
SPME may approve similar or competitive vendors or businesses at their discretion.
Set up will begin Saturday, december 19th at 7:00am, all vendors must be set up and ready for guests by 9:45am.
Vendor's vehicles must be parked in the vendor parking area near the Manzanita Building or behind the Grand Stands. Please do not move your vehicle near the market building until you have fully packed up your vendor booth space. PLEASE be mindful of the parking area, do not create ruts when pulling in or out.
LIGHTING: be aware the ligting in the Tribal Building is not very bright, vendors are responsible for their own additional lighting. Be mindful of this when selecting a booth space, if you require additional lightning and will need electricity, choose a wall booth space or you will need to provide your own power source (generators are NOT permitted in the building).
The Market Event is open from 10am to 4pm; all Vendors are expected to keep their booth open and manned during those hours. If a vendor should pack up early, they may not be invited to attend future markets or events with Sun Poppy Markets & Events. Vendors must be packed up with their booth area clear of all items and debris by 5:30pm.
