Before You Apply: Artist Market Eligibility
The Chomp & Stomp Artist Market is a juried marketplace for artists, makers, and small businesses offering original, handmade, artist-designed, vintage, or upcycled goods that are appropriate for a community-focused outdoor festival.

We welcome applications from artists, makers, designers, vintage curators, and small businesses with distinctive, well-presented products. We aim to create a varied market with a thoughtful balance of categories, price points, and product types. Acceptance is based on quality, originality, presentation, completeness of the application, fit with the festival, available space, and category balance.

Categories we do not accept in the artist market

• Imported resale merchandise
• Political organizations
• Tobacco, nicotine, vape or CBD products
• Services-only businesses 

If you are unsure whether your products qualify, please contact the Chomp & Stomp team before submitting and paying the application fee. Applications that do not meet Artist Market eligibility may be declined without refund.

About the festival and neighborhood

Chomp & Stomp is presented by the Cabbagetown Initiative 501c3, a non-profit organization dedicated to energizing public spaces. This festival is a fundraiser for Cabbagetown Park, and other places people gather freely in our community, including Esther Peachy Lefevre Park, Cabbagetown Community Center and the "Forward, Warrior!!" mural walk on Wylie Street.

We're thrilled to support the Eventeny process - geared towards professional market vendors, while welcoming to new applicants. 

Cabbagetown is a friendly place for all. The all-volunteer Chomp & Stomp Crew is here to help! The vendor experience can be frustrating sometimes, and load-in on the tiny streets of this little historic mill village requires a lot of patience. Be kind to your fellow artisans, and considerate to your tent neighbors. Our volunteers promise to treat you with courtesy and respect, and we appreciate the same. Please read all the information carefully and follow instructions carefully to ensure a smooth ride and pleasant journey.

We aim to provide maximum value for our partners in the market, and an amazing adventure for our guests. We want you to have happy customers, and we'd love this event to be profitable for your small business. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns. 

We believe the application fee is modest, and the reservation cost is commensurate with the opportunities available for our popular and inviting festival. Those with e-commerce platforms are encouraged to leverage our social media and interactive event map to increase their followers, mailing list, and revenue streams.

By submitting an application to the Chomp & Stomp Artist Market, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the event terms, application requirements, and all instructions provided through Eventeny and subsequent organizer communications.

Chomp & Stomp is a nonprofit community fundraiser produced by the Cabbagetown Initiative, a 501(c)(3) organization. Application fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee acceptance, a booth assignment, a preferred location, or participation in the festival. Vendor selection is juried and based on the quality and originality of submitted work, alignment with the Artist Market, category balance, completeness of the application, available space, and overall fit for the festival.

Accepted vendors are responsible for providing accurate application information; selling only the products represented in their application; complying with all applicable city, state, and federal requirements; obtaining any required licenses, permits, insurance, or certificates; and following all festival rules, deadlines, load-in instructions, safety requirements, and volunteer directions. Vendors must provide and secure their own tents, tables, displays, weights, equipment, and other booth needs unless otherwise specified by the festival.

Chomp & Stomp takes place in a busy historic neighborhood with narrow streets, limited access, and an all-volunteer event team. Vendors agree to arrive on time, exercise patience and professionalism during load-in and load-out, treat neighbors, guests, fellow vendors, and volunteers with respect, and maintain a safe, clean, welcoming booth space throughout the event.

The festival reserves the right to deny, waitlist, withdraw, or cancel an application; reassign booth locations; remove vendors or products that do not comply with event standards; and make reasonable operational changes as needed for safety, weather, permitting, neighborhood access, or festival operations.
