Food Vendor Application for Saturday's Pride Festival

Thank you for your interest in being a Food Vendor at the Macon Pride Festival!

The Festival is open to the public on Saturday, September 26 from 2-9 pm.

YOU MUST HAVE OR OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM MACON BIBB COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE EVENT  

FEE STRUCTURE:

$100 non-refundable fee, charged upon approval by Macon Pride Inc.

Once approved and charged, fee is non-refundable unless the entire event is cancelled.

Macon Pride Policies

• Only the business registered via this application may operate and sell food in the assigned location. Sharing or transferring this agreement to another businesses or organization is prohibited.
• Macon Pride, Inc. reserves the right to change the location, dates, hours, or to terminate entirely the operation of the scheduled event, but will make all reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to food Vendors of any changes or cancellations.
• Macon Pride, Inc. may, for publicity purposes, use any photographs or videos which might contain the Vendor's vehicle without further permission from such Vendors.
• There is NO exclusivity of Vendors guaranteed by Macon Pride, Inc.

Event Specific Information

• All Food Vendors will be located in the intersection of Third Street and Mulberry Street in the middle of the street. (Streets will be closed and barricaded with the assistance of Bibb County Sheriff's Department.)
• Time Specifics
  • Macon Pride Festival is Open to the Public, Saturday, September 26 from 2-9 pm.
  • Food Vendor Check-in and set up begins at 12:00 PM. Please, no early arrivals.
  • Setup vehicles MUST be removed from the festival grounds by 1:00 PM.
  • Food Vendors must have their truck/trailer cleared from the festival grounds by 10:00 PM.

(1) General Rules for Food Vendors:

YOU MUST HAVE OR OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM MACON BIBB COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE EVENT  

1. Vendors must make their own arrangements for transport of products, equipment, etc. to and from their assigned space.
2. Vendors must take full responsibility for set-up and clean up of their assigned space.
3. Vendors must keep all displays, merchandise, etc. within the confines of their assigned space.
4. Vendors must maintain a neat and clean area. All waste produced by a Vendor must be taken off premises for disposal by the Vendor.
5. Vendors may not hawk, peddle, sell, or advertise outside their assigned area.
6. All Food Vendors must supply their own power. No electricity will be provided. All generators must be
   insulated and quiet running. Vendors/Exhibitors that are using an electric generator or any other motor must soundproof that device to the satisfaction of the Macon Pride, Inc.
7. No music or sound systems will be allowed as part of a Vendor's set up.
8. Vendors must operate their business in a professional manner. At the discretion of Macon Pride, Inc. any Vendor, or any agent or employee of the Vendor, who does not conduct themselves in a professional manner and according to the policies contained herein, may be removed from the festival.

(2) Permits/Certificates:

1. No Vendors may sell any food or beverages without Macon Pride, Inc. approval and all local required governmental permits.
2. Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and paying all Georgia/Bibb County sales taxes on any items for sale within their booth.
3. Vendors are responsible for obtaining and displaying legally required permits and operating within any local, state, or federal guidelines, ordinances or laws.

(3) Liability:

1. Vendors are solely liable for equipment (installation, operation, and tear down), and any other personal property at the festival. Vendor represents it has insurance coverage for said items to cover loss due to vandalism, theft, or any other casualty. Security is provided at specific designated times; however, any losses due to fire, theft, damage, or injury is the sole responsibility of the Vendor. It is specifically agreed that Macon Pride, Inc. and their agents shall be held harmless by the Vendor for any claim of theft, vandalism, casualty, or loss regardless of the cause of same.
2. The Vendor shall defend, indemnify, and save harmless Macon Pride, Inc, and their agents, from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of, or in consequence of, any negligent, reckless or intentional act or omission of the Vendor and/or the Vendor's employees or agents.

By submitting this application, I understand and agree to abide by the above policies and procedures. Upon acceptance of my application, this form will be binding and will represent the terms of the permit agreement.
