ABOUT LOVERS LANE
Lovers Lane is a Mission District street fair that began in Balmy Alley in 2022. Created by Mission-raised muralist Lucia Gonzalez Ippolito and her partner El Lechero to activate the historic Balmy Alley as a space to support local small businesses and preview local art and artists in the community with Love as the backdrop. Now, the Mission's own Valentine's Day event is about love for our community, love as an act of resistance, and love for our city, bringing us together.
Every year we curate this family-friendly street fair, complete with children's activities, couples' games, community organization and outreach, authentic local cuisine, local small-business vendors, and all-day performances by Bay Area artists.
This year is on track to be our biggest year yet; we will be featuring 2 food vending areas and a much bigger footprint, which means more vendors.
However, we will still be selecting specific products or vendors offering a specific service. Thank you for understanding!
We invite you to fill out this form to be considered to join our sixth year of Lovers Lane on February 13th, 2027, to help us beautify our neighborhood and create a welcoming space for our community to celebrate the love we have for each other.

About the event
Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms & conditions thoroughly before completing the application.
All vendors are required to fill out this application and upload the appropriate documents to secure their spot in Lover's Lane.
Vendor applications that are approved will be charged the day of approval; vendors who choose the payment plan method will be charged the first installment upon approval.
ALL FOOD VENDORS MUST FILL OUT THE MANDATORY TFF FORM
All vendors must attend mandatory orientation as well as the planning meeting; those dates will be sent out as soon as we have them.

EVENT INFO
Date: SATURDAY, February 13th, 11 am to 5 pm
Location: Harrison Street between 25th street & 26th street or 25th street in between Harrison and Alabama
EVENT SETUP
FOOD Vendors set up:
We will have set time window slots for unloading on 26th & Harrison or 25th & Alabama.
It is important to come and drop off in your set time slot to avoid a traffic jam at the entrance/exits. You will get your set window time slot as we get closer to the big event.
Load-in and set up 7:00 am-9:00 am
Event vending 11:00 am-5:00 pm
Break down and load out 5:00 pm -6:00 pm
By completing this application, I agree to the following items as VENDOR REQUIREMENTS:
-I understand that I must be fully unloaded and set up in my booth space by 9 am. (This will prevent traffic at each corner of the street and prevent delay from other vendors trying to set up near you)
-I understand, per the TFF requirement, I must have my own fire extinguisher
-I understand, per the TFF requirement, that food warming equipment will be required
-I understand, per the TFF requirement, that food tents that have food preparation happening during the event must have mesh siding on their canopy.
-I understand that if I do not fully clean up my vending area, including the sidewalk/street at the breakdown of the event, then I will not be invited to vend with Lover's Lane again, as well as incur fines for cleanup penalties.
-I will complete a signed TFF application
-I will not sell alcohol unless specifically listing it on my application
-I will pay the full vending amount by the due date (unless agreement with Lover's Lane is arranged)
-I will attend a mandatory orientation meeting via zoom to go over logistics and community agreements
-I will arrive ON TIME the day of the event and be set up ready for inspection before 9:00 am, and break down at 5:00 pm to be completely cleaned up by 6 pm
-I will make 2 to 3 posts on social media per week leading up to the event, starting early December
Lastly, I will respect my community and the neighbors of the Mission by leading with kindness and compassion. I will respect the land where Lover's Lane takes place by leaving my vending spot the same as I found it or even better. This event is about Love, and the best way to show Love is by showing respect.
Failure to comply with any of these items will cause you to forfeit your spot in the event, and in most cases, you will not be invited back to future years
