✨🎁 Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at The Homestead’s Holiday Market! 🎁✨

 

Join us for a festive day at The Homestead Rest in Sparta, NJ, featuring 40+ local vendors, live music by Rob Gorny, farm animals, delicious food and drinks, and an outdoor bar.

 

We are looking for local makers, boutiques, artists, crafters, and small businesses to help create a magical holiday shopping experience for our community. Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’, and all vendors will be personally guided to their designated setup location upon arrival.

 

📅 Event Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026

 

⏰ Event Hours: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

 

📍 Location: The Homestead Rest, 294 N Church Road, Sparta, NJ 07871

 

🌧️ Rain Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026 (the rain date will only be used in the event of extreme weather conditions).

 

✨ We kindly ask all vendors to actively promote the event to help make it a success. If you need help with advertising ideas or promotional materials, please reach out—we’re happy to help!

Vendor Terms & Conditions
By submitting a vendor application and participating in The Homestead’s Holiday Market, vendors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 
Event Information
Event Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026

Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Rain Date: Sunday, November  8, 2026

The rain date will only be used if severe weather conditions make it unsafe to hold the event, as determined solely by The Homestead Rest and NJ Mama Events.

Vendor Space & Setup
Vendor setup begins at 7:00 AM.
All vendors must be completely set up no later than 9:30 AM.
Vendors must remain open and operational for the entire event and may not begin packing up before 4:00 PM without prior approval from the event organizer.
Vendor spaces are approximately 10' x 10'.
Space assignments are determined solely by the event organizer. Upon arrival, vendors will be escorted to their assigned location.
Vendors are responsible for supplying all necessary equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, displays, signage, weights, and any additional setup materials.
Electricity is not available.
Vendors are responsible for leaving their space clean and free of debris at the conclusion of the event. Any trash generated by a vendor must be removed from the premises.
 
Parking & Unloading
Upon arrival, vendors must first pull into the main parking lot to unload.
Vendors may unload only in designated unloading areas as directed by event staff.
Once unloading is complete, all vehicles must be moved immediately to the designated vendor parking area located in the adjacent field.
Vendor parking is accessible through the main parking lot.

 

Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are expected to actively promote and advertise the event to help ensure a successful market.
If you are unwilling to assist in promoting the event, please do not apply.
Vendors who need assistance with marketing ideas, promotional graphics, or social media content are encouraged to contact the event organizer.
Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required business licenses, permits, insurance, and tax registrations, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax.
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and maintain a respectful, family-friendly atmosphere throughout the event.
Vendors are responsible for monitoring and securing their booth and merchandise throughout the event.
 
Products & Sales
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
The Homestead Rest and NJ Mama Events reserve the right to approve or deny any vendor application at their sole discretion.
Vendors may sell only the products that were disclosed in their application and approved by the event organizer.
No food or beverage vendors will be permitted unless specifically approved by The Homestead Rest.
The sale of illegal, hazardous, offensive, counterfeit, copyrighted, or trademark-infringing merchandise is strictly prohibited.
Event organizers reserve the right to require the removal of any product deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with the event.
 
Health & Safety
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure booth at all times.
All tents, canopies, umbrellas, displays, and equipment must be properly secured with adequate weights.
Walkways, exits, and common areas must remain clear and free of hazards.
Open flames, fireworks, explosives, generators, and hazardous materials are prohibited unless specifically approved in writing.
Children accompanying vendors must be supervised at all times.
Vendors must immediately follow all instructions provided by event staff or emergency personnel in the event of an emergency.
 
Weather Policy
The event will be held rain or shine.
The rain date will only be activated if severe weather creates unsafe conditions, as determined solely by the event organizers.
No refunds will be issued due to weather-related conditions, including rain, wind, heat, cold, low attendance, or other circumstances beyond the organizers' control.
Event organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, relocate, postpone, or cancel the event if necessary for safety or operational reasons.
 
Payments & Refund Policy
Vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is canceled by The Homestead Rest.
Vendor spaces may not be transferred, shared, sold, assigned, or subleased without prior written approval.
Failure to attend the event for any reason does not entitle a vendor to a refund or credit.
 
Liability & Indemnification
Participation in the event is entirely at the vendor's own risk.

The Homestead Rest, NJ Mama Events, event organizers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, equipment, vehicles, personal property, or personal injury.

Vendors assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from their participation in the event.

Vendors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Homestead Rest, NJ Mama Events, event organizers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or legal actions arising out of the vendor's participation, products, operations, negligence, or conduct.

 
Photography & Media Release
By participating in the event, vendors grant The Homestead Rest and NJ Mama Events permission to photograph or record their booth, products, employees, and representatives during the event.

Vendors authorize the use of these photographs and videos for advertising, promotional, marketing, website, social media, and other business purposes without compensation or further permission.

 
Force Majeure
The Homestead Rest and NJ Mama Events shall not be held liable for cancellation, postponement, or modification of the event due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government orders, public health emergencies, utility failures, acts of terrorism, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.

 
Event Policies
Event organizers reserve the right to modify event details, vendor placement, event hours, or these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Vendors who fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions or directions from event staff may be removed from the event without refund.
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse participation to any vendor whose products or conduct are inconsistent with the purpose or standards of the event.
