Vendor Application & Market Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at The Local Habit, a weekly Saturday market focused on local goods, services, wellness, and community connection.

Please note that this is an application only. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be notified if selected.

 
Application & Fees
There is no fee to apply. Upon approval, a vendor participation fee is required to secure your spot. Accepted vendors will be charged automatically using the payment method on file. If the payment attempt is unsuccessful, vendors will have 48 hours to submit payment. Failure to complete payment within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the vendor’s spot for that market date.. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of acceptance for that market date.

 

Applications are not approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Each vendor is thoughtfully selected to ensure a balanced, high-quality experience that serves the community well.

 

All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions. These terms will be acknowledged within the application.

 
Vendor Space & Setup
Each vendor is provided a 10’ x 10’ space (tent not provided)
Vendors must provide and properly secure tent weights for safety
Vendors are responsible for bringing all necessary equipment for their setup
No electricity is provided at this location. Generators are welcomed
 
Food Vendor Guidelines
Vendors are responsible for compliance with all applicable local and state health requirements.

 
Weather & Safety Policy
The Local Habit is a rain or shine event. Vendors should plan accordingly for outdoor conditions. Market operations may only be canceled in the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions as determined by the market organizer.

All vendors are expected to follow venue rules and safety guidelines to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and staff.
Terms & Conditions
The Local Habit

By submitting an application to participate as a vendor at The Local Habit, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

 
1. Application & Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. All vendors are selected at the sole discretion of The Local Habit to ensure a balanced, high-quality market experience. Applications are not approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

 
2. Fees & Payment
There is no fee to apply. Upon acceptance, vendors agree to pay the vendor participation fee, which will be automatically charged to the payment method on file.

If the payment attempt is unsuccessful, vendors will have 48 hours to submit payment. Failure to complete payment within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the vendor’s spot for that market date.

3. Vendor Space, Setup & Breakdown
Each accepted vendor is provided one 10’ x 10’ space. Tents are not provided. Vendors must supply and properly secure approved tent weights.

Vendor setup may begin at 9 AM
All setups must be fully completed by 9:45 AM
Early breakdown is not permitted unless prior approval is granted by market management
Vendor vehicles must be unloaded and removed from the market area by the designated setup completion time, unless otherwise approved.

Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized space throughout the market and must fully clean their area before departure.

 
4. Food & Safety Compliance
Prepared food and food tents are permitted provided all food is fully prepared offsite in a licensed kitchen and maintained at proper health and safety temperatures while onsite.

Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and health department regulations.

 
5. Utilities & Power
Electricity, water, and Wi-Fi are not provided.

 
6. Weather Policy
The Local Habit is a rain or shine event. Vendors acknowledge that market dates will proceed in most weather conditions. No refunds or credits will be issued due to weather, except in cases of market cancellation due to extreme or unsafe conditions as determined by market management.

 
7. Conduct & Professionalism
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a friendly, respectful, and welcoming manner toward guests, fellow vendors, staff, and organizers at all times.

Rude, aggressive, belligerent, or unprofessional behavior will result in immediate removal from the market without refund and permanent disqualification from participation in all future The Local Habit events. No exceptions.

 
8. Sales, Promotion & Expectations
The Local Habit cannot guarantee sales, revenue, or foot traffic. While market management actively promotes the event, vendor success depends on many factors beyond our control.

Vendors are strongly encouraged to promote their participation, as The Local Habit is not a one-time pop-up—it is a weekly community staple built through shared effort, consistency, and collaboration.

 
9. Liability & Insurance
Vendors participate at their own risk and agree to release and hold harmless The Local Habit, its organizers, partners, venue, and affiliates from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from participation.

Vendors are encouraged to carry general liability insurance. The Local Habit reserves the right to request proof of insurance for certain vendors or services.

 
10. Cancellations, No-Shows & Transfers
Vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Vendors who fail to attend or cancel after acceptance forfeit their fee and may impact eligibility for future participation.

Vendor spaces may not be shared, subleased, or transferred to another business without prior written approval from market management.

 
11. Media & Promotion
Vendors grant The Local Habit permission to use photographs, videos, and content captured during the market for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.

 
12. Market Modifications
The Local Habit reserves the right to modify market rules, layout, vendor placement, or operations as needed to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.

 
13. Agreement
By submitting this application, the vendor confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.

The Local Habit is providing the opportunity for my business to set up, showcase, and sell my products/services within the marketplace. I understand that The Local Habit does NOT guarantee sales, profits, customers, or foot traffic. It is my responsibility to market and promote my own business before and during the market. Each business participating is responsible for creating awareness of their presence, engaging with customers, and promoting their own products or services. I understand that The Local Habit provides the market space, overall marketplace marketing, and community exposure throughout Orlando and surrounding areas; however, this is not a guaranteed sales opportunity where vendors should rely solely on The Local Habit, its organizers, or partners to provide customers, sales, or individual business promotion.
  • I understand that late arrivals will NOT be permitted to set up and that booth sharing is NOT permitted unless previously approved by The Local Habit team. I understand that misconduct, unsafe behavior, disrespect, or disruptive conduct may result in removal from the market and possible trespassing from the property. I understand there are NO refunds, transfers, credits, or exchanges under any circumstances. I understand payment is due within 48 hours of approval or my spot may be released to another vendor. I understand that The Local Habit is a community-driven market and vendors are expected to be friendly, communicative, respectful, and contribute positively to the atmosphere of the market. I also acknowledge that this application is for consideration only and submission does not guarantee acceptance into the market.
  • I understand that all tent vendors must have a 10x10 tent or smaller and MUST have proper tent weights attached at all times (40 lb minimum required). I understand that all food vendors must comply with all State of Florida permits, licenses, and health requirements. I understand that NO open flames, drugs, alcohol, or smoking are permitted at the market. I understand that I am responsible for following all vendor guidelines and requirements to participate in The Local Habit marketplace.
