Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at The Bastrop Hispanic Festival—an evening filled with music, performances, culture, food, art, and community in the heart of Downtown Bastrop!

Join us Friday, September 18th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM as Main Street transforms into a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage. This free,safe space- family-friendly festival showcases the traditions, creativity, and diversity that make our community so special.

Vendor Requirements
Vendors are responsible for providing:

Tent (recommended)
Tables and chairs
Displays and signage
Battery-operated lighting for evening hours
Please Note
No electricity will be available.
Sunset is approximately 7:30 PM. Please plan to use battery-powered lighting.
Generators are not permitted.
Setup and load-out instructions will be provided upon acceptance.
Space is limited. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Vendors must comply with all City of Bastrop regulations and Eventeny policies.

About the event

Celebrate culture, community, and creativity at ¡Viva Bastrop! A Hispanic Heritage Celebration! Join us on Friday, September 18, from 6:00–10:00 PM in Downtown Bastrop for a free, family-friendly street festival honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. Enjoy live music, dancing, authentic food, local artisans, a Kids Zone, shopping, and surprise performances by talented cultural groups and artists throughout the evening. Most importantly, this event is a SAFE, welcoming space where everyone is invited to come together, celebrate traditions, create new memories, and experience the vibrant spirit of our community.

Terms & Conditions

Application & Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Vendors are selected based on event theme, product quality, variety, and space availability.
Event organizers reserve the right to decline or revoke acceptance if a vendor’s products or conduct do not align with the event’s mission or guidelines.
 
Fees & Payments
All vendor fees (if applicable) must be paid in full by the stated deadline to secure a space.
Vendor fees are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by the organizer.
Failure to submit payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of your space.
 
Event Hours & Setup
Event hours are 6:00 PM –10:00 PM.
Vendors must be fully set up before the event start time and remain open for the duration of the event.
Early breakdown is not permitted without prior approval.
Load-in and load-out instructions will be provided upon acceptance.
 
Booth Space & Equipment
Vendors must provide their own tables, tents, chairs, lighting, and displays.
Tents must be properly weighted for safety.
Booth sharing or subleasing is not permitted without written approval.
Vendors must stay within their assigned booth space.
 
Product Guidelines
All products must be handmade, original, or approved resale items (as applicable).
No illegal, offensive, or inappropriate items may be sold.
Products must align with the family-friendly and community-focused nature of the event.
Organizers reserve the right to request removal of any items deemed inappropriate.
 
Licenses, Permits & Taxes
Vendors are responsible for obtaining any required licenses, permits, insurance, and tax documentation.
Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting all applicable sales taxes.
 
Food Vendors (cottage kitchen only) 
Food vendors must meet all local health department requirements.
Proof of permits and inspections may be required prior to the event.
 
Conduct & Community Standards
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
This event celebrates culture, heritage, and community—vendors must support this mission.
 
Weather & Cancellation
This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event unless otherwise stated.

If the event is canceled by organizers due to unforeseen circumstances, vendors will be notified and refund or credit options will be provided.
 
Liability & Indemnification
Vendors participate at their own risk.
Event organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and venue from any claims or damages.
 
Photography & Promotion
Vendors grant permission for photographs or video taken at the event to be used for marketing and promotional purposes.
Vendors may be tagged or featured on social media unless otherwise requested in writing.
 
Agreement
Submission of an application constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
