About the application

Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the 2026 Battle for the MainStage with The Dogwood Fall Festival will take place October 24, 2026. This is the application for FOOD VENDORS. If you are not an FOOD VENDOR, please return to the event application page to complete the correct vendor application. Failure to complete the correct vendor application may result in an denial.

FOOD VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO COMPLETE AN EVENT APPLICATION.  

 

 

FESTIVAL HOURS: Saturday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM


Booth fees will not be charged until approval into the festival. The same payment type will be used at the time booth fees are charged. Invalid payment methods may risk loss of space. Vendor supplies their own tent, table, and chairs. Overnight security WILL be provided. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY AUGUST 12, AT 11:59 PM -- APPLICATIONS PAST THIS DATE/TIME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
 
APPLICATION DECISIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY SEPTMBER 15TH.
 
Please note the following information: 


- Vendors will be notified via Eventeny/email of the decision.


- Staff cannot disclose the decision of your application. All decisions are made by the Vendor Committee.


- Additional information will not be supplied prior to the receipt of an approval email. 


- Upon approval, accepted vendors will be charged per the same payment type as paid during the application fee process. Expect a payment to process at the moment approval comes through. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR FOOD VENDORS: 


- Food Vendor spaces are designated for those who will be preparing food on-site and selling to patrons/festival-goers. 


- Food Vendors should be prepared to serve a high volume of people. 


- Soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages may be sold by food vendors.

 

- Food Vendors must abide by NC Health guidelines and will be inspected prior to opening. For more information contact the Cumberland County Health Department at 910-433-3660.

 

- Food Vendors are subject to Fire Marshall regulations.


- Be free of grease splashes, spills, and/or any grease containers. Grease disposal and clean-up is the responsibility of the Food Vendor - subject to fee if this occurs.


- Be free of trash or any other items on the ground. Trash must be disposed of properly in the appropriate trash can subject to fee if additional clean up is needed.

Terms & Conditions

Please read all of the information below before beginning your application. As a vendor, you are responsible for understanding all of our terms and conditions and by submitting your application, you agree to all Fayetteville Dogwood Festival Terms and Conditions.- A $20.00 non-refundable application fee is required.


- Applications do not guarantee acceptance into the festival.


- No applications will be accepted by mail or email.


- Applicants are selected by a vendor committee by vendor application only.


- Applications that are incomplete will not be considered. Please make sure to complete the application to the fullest potential. 


- Applications that do not include photos will not be considered. 


- After the application closes, applicants will not be able to adjust their application


- Vendors are required to provide an NC Department of Revenue Sales & Use Tax ID Number.

By moving forward with this registration, the registrant understands the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival's refund policy includes the following:
 
- Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled.
 
Fayetteville Dogwood Festival follows a rain or shine policy. If the registrant decides not to attend due to weather conditions, the registrant forfeit's the monies paid towards the event. Fayetteville Dogwood Festival reserves the right to issue refunds on a circumstance basis. No registrant will receive a refund without proper discussion with the event organizer.

 

By completing this application, you agree to the following terms:

 

- You will arrive on time for your check-in. Tardiness will risk losing your space. Parking will be available for supply trucks and trailers. These cannot be moved during the weekend. Vehicles that need to be accessed during the weekend must find parking downtown. Overnight security is provided for your area. 


- Your supplies and equipment will remain within the space that is supplied for the festival. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the festival without refund. Please be prepared to serve customers only from the front of your booth or trailer. You may not set up an additional tent outside of your Trailer/Truck without prior approval from the event organizers. 

 

- All vendors who do not cook in an enclosed truck/trailer must cover the entire ground area of your location with mats, tarps or other coverings. Extend the covering well beyond your footprint. This includes the serving area and under grills. There will be no exceptions. Storm water inspectors will pre-inspect all areas prior to load-in. They will be on site during load-in and all day Saturday and Sunday. Any vendor with grease on the hard surface or grass will be issued a Notice of Violation by an inspector. The issue must be corrected the same day. If it is not, a citation will be issued by the inspector to the vendor. All oil must be in containers and removed from the area at the end of the festival.

 

- You must bring a minimum of 25-50 feet of potable water hose and a splitter unless otherwise noted in our letter.

 

- NO POWER WILL BE SUPPLIED TO ANY FOOD VENDOR!! You must provide your own method of power whether it be via your food truck or a generator. We ask that the generator you provide be as silent as possible. We understand that some generators will still make a considerable amount of noise for the power requirements.


- You must display professionally produced signs showing ALL of the items you are selling and the price of each item. These signs must be in full view of patrons and readable from a distance of at least 15 feet. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN WITHOUT A POSTED PRICE LIST. The price list must remain posted throughout the festival. You may only sell those items you indicated on your application and were approved. No signage over 12 ft off the ground is allowed. 


- Any vendor who wishes to sell soft drinks or water can purchase products from the festival. Ice will also be available for purchase. Products cannot be sold less than $2. 


- You must complete all documentation for the Cumberland County Health Department and be prepared for the inspection. No sales may occur before inspection. Vendors are responsible for 1% sales tax for food prepared on site. 


- You must have a fire extinguisher within your footprint with a minimum rating of 20-A:10-B:C. You may not begin cooking without an approved extinguisher in your booth. 


- You acknowledge that food vendor operation hours. 


- You acknowledge vendors may not leave during the weekend without approval of the Vendor Chair or the chairperson’s stand-in. If there are any further questions regarding this event, please email Info@TheDogwoodFestival.com.
