Workshop Presenter Application
About the application
This application is for creatives interested in leading a hands-on maker workshop or facilitating an artpreneur-focused session at CraftCrash.
We are currently accepting up to two proposals per application.
Maker workshops are designed to be immersive, hands-on experiences where participants create something they can take home. Each workshop will be 1.5 to 2 hours in length and should provide a meaningful opportunity for attendees to learn a new skill or explore a creative process. Workshop supplies must be provided by the instructor for a class size of up to 16 participants. An instructor stipend of $100 is available to help offset supply costs.
Artpreneur Workshops should focus on specialized topics that support the growth and sustainability of creative businesses. Sessions will be 1.5 to 2 hours in length and designed for groups of up to 16 participants. Facilitators should plan for an interactive format that includes opportunities for discussion, reflection, and shared learning among attendees.
We are looking for engaging instructors and facilitators who can share their expertise, create welcoming learning environments, and help makers leave CraftCrash feeling inspired, connected, and empowered. Please see Terms & Conditions for full compensation details.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
CraftCrash Presenter Terms & Conditions
By submitting a proposal and accepting a presenter role at CraftCrash, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Presenter Selection & Session Approval
All presenter proposals will be reviewed and selected by Tiny Rhino Productions based on alignment with CraftCrash goals, attendee needs, session quality, format, expertise, and overall event experience. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee acceptance.
Tiny Rhino Productions reserves the right to modify session titles, descriptions, formats, scheduling, or placement as needed to create the best possible experience for attendees and presenters.
Session Format & Expectations
CraftCrash sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and community focused. This is not a traditional lecture or stage presentation event. Selected presenters should be prepared to create opportunities for conversation, participation, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
Sessions will be limited to 16 participants or fewer to ensure an intimate environment where attendees can ask questions, share ideas, and meaningfully connect with presenters and fellow creatives.
Each selected session will be offered twice during CraftCrash to provide maximum attendee access. Presenters agree to facilitate both scheduled session offerings.
Presenter Compensation
All selected presenters will receive a flat $100 stipend to support preparation, supplies, and workshop development, as well as a complimentary CraftCrash registration ($395 value). Presenters will have full access to all CraftCrash workshops, sessions, and after-hours community events, allowing them to experience the full conference alongside fellow artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs.
For hands-on maker workshops, presenters are responsible for providing necessary supplies and materials for participants. Presenters may use their stipend toward these costs.
Payment details and required documentation will be provided to selected presenters prior to the event. Payments will be dispersed within one week post-event.
Affiliate Program
Each selected presenter will receive a unique affiliate code to share with their community. This code provides discounted registration for attendees and allows presenters the opportunity to earn additional income through referred registrations.
Presenter Responsibilities
Selected presenters agree to:
- Prepare and facilitate their approved session as described.
- Communicate promptly with the CraftCrash team regarding scheduling, materials, and logistics.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions.
- Create an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment for all participants.
Intellectual Property
Presenters retain ownership of their original workshop content, materials, and creative work. By participating in CraftCrash, presenters grant Tiny Rhino Productions permission to use their name, biography, session description, and approved images for event promotion and marketing purposes.
Recording, photographing, or sharing presenter content may occur during the event. Tiny Rhino Productions will make reasonable efforts to communicate any planned recordings or promotional uses.
Cancellation & Event Changes
Tiny Rhino Productions reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or adjust any session, presenter participation, or event programming due to circumstances including, but not limited to, low attendee enrollment, venue changes, scheduling challenges, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If CraftCrash or a presenter session is canceled due to low enrollment or other event-related considerations, Tiny Rhino Productions will notify affected presenters as soon as possible. Presenter stipends will only be provided for completed sessions.
Presenter Cancellation
If a selected presenter is unable to participate, they agree to notify Tiny Rhino Productions as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be considered. Repeated cancellations or failure to meet presenter responsibilities will impact eligibility for future CraftCrash opportunities.
Code of Conduct
CraftCrash is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants. Presenters agree to treat attendees, fellow presenters, staff, volunteers, and partners with respect and professionalism.
Discrimination, harassment, or behavior that creates an unsafe or unwelcoming environment will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
Acceptance
By accepting a presenter role at CraftCrash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
