About the application

This application is for all political candidates. An application does not guarantee acceptance. Please allow two weeks for application processing. 

 

Note: Vendors may not walk around and solicit during the event. All vendors must stay at their booth. 

 

Vendor load-in will run from 1-4pm. Due to limited space, vendors will be permitted to drive up to two vehicles into the event space for load-in. We ask that you unload your vehicles as quickly as possible, park your car outside of the event space, and then begin setting up your booth. 

About the event

Spooktacular returns as Winder's Pirate Cove, where young buccaneers can search for treasure, collect candy, and enjoy a night of family-friendly Halloween fun! Join us in downtown Winder on October 23 from 5-9pm for a family-friendly Halloween event. Spooktacular will feature trick-or-treating, a costume contest, themed activities, music, food trucks and more! Expected attendance is 4,000-6,000.

Terms & Conditions

Vendor Basics:  Vendor fees will be charged to the credit care on file the Monday before the event.  Weather-related refunds are based on the discretion of the events team, and you will be notified if a credit/refund is being issued. You will be notified by event staff if there are any weather-related changes to the event schedule.  Vendor instructions and event layout will differ for each event. Please read your vendor instructions email and forward it to your staff that will be working the event. This email will go out the Monday or Tuesday before the event. To keep event attendees, our staff and other vendors safe, do not pull in or out of the event space until instructed to do so.   Behavior expectationsNo alcohol may be consumed by vendors onsite.  Smoking is prohibited for vendors in the event space. Vendors must be kind and courteous to all customers as you are a reflection on the City of Winder.  Vendors should not leave their booths/trucks unattended.  Vendors may not walk the event and pass out marketing materials.  Rules:  You must supply all items needed to operate your booth/truck. Ex) quiet generator, tent, level for trucks, etc. 
Power sources are not provided for food vendors.  You must provide adequate weights for your tent. Staking is not permitted. Vendors who arrive after their scheduled load in time will forfeit their vendor payment and will not be allowed into the event.  All sales mut be taken before the end of the event. It is your responsibility to cut off the line.  You may only sell items that were approved in your application. If you sell unapproved items, you will be asked to stop selling those items and possibly face removal from the event.
