Thank you for your interest in participating in Mission in Motion, a new community event designed to showcase the incredible nonprofit organizations that make Georgetown a stronger, more connected community.

 

Participation is open exclusively to Williamson County-based nonprofit organizations. Organizations must be registered nonprofit entities and actively serving Williamson County residents. This event is designed to highlight the valuable work being done by local nonprofits and provide opportunities for community members to connect directly with organizations making an impact close to home.

 

We encourage organizations to think beyond traditional informational displays and provide an interactive activity that helps attendees connect with your mission. Activities could include:

Hands-on demonstrations
Games or challenges
Crafts or make-and-take activities
Educational displays
Volunteer opportunities
Interactive experiences that showcase the work your organization does
The more engaging your booth, the more memorable your organization will be to attendees.

 

Passport Program
To encourage attendees to visit every participating organization, we will provide a Mission in Motion Passport. Guests will collect a stamp or mark from each nonprofit booth they visit. Once completed, they can enter their passport into a drawing for gift baskets and prizes.

To support this program, we ask each participating organization to either:

Donate an item for a community gift basket, or
Create and donate a themed gift basket representing your organization.
These prizes will help drive attendance and encourage visitors to learn about each nonprofit's mission.

About the event

Turning Passion Into Purpose Mission in Motion is a new community event designed to showcase the incredible nonprofit organizations that make Williamson County a stronger, more connected community. Hosted by the City of Georgetown and the Downtown Georgetown Association Our vision is to bring local nonprofits together in one place to share their missions, recruit volunteers, build awareness, and connect with community members who are looking for meaningful ways to get involved. Through interactive experiences, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community engagement, we hope to inspire attendees to discover the organizations that are creating positive change throughout Georgetown. Participation in this event is completely free for nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to provide a platform that highlights your organization and the impact you make in our community. Terms & Conditions

Each booth space is approximately 5X10. No tents are allowed. Please bring your own tables, chairs, and any other items needed for your booth space. If you need additional space, please email your request.
