Food Vendors - Truckin' Tuesday September 2026

Welcome! We are excited to kickoff Truckin Tuesdays at Decatur Legacy Park! This is a favorite community event that happens every Tuesday in May and September from 5-8pm! We will have food vendors located in and around the South Lawn for locals to enjoy. We hope to see you there.

The main goal of this event is to foster a sense of community in Decatur through programs & events. In order to participate, we charge a nominal fee of $50 per event due no later than two weeks before the first Truckin' Tuesday date.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Truckin’ Tuesdays are a laid-back, community-focused event created to bring neighbors together and highlight local vendors. Attendance can vary, but we typically see anywhere from 100–200+ community members throughout the evening. This is a casual experience designed to offer vendors added exposure within the City of Decatur and an opportunity to connect with the community in a fun, approachable setting.

VENDOR SELECTION & PAYMENT: This is an interest form. You will receive an email confirmation when you are scheduled and confirmed. Vendors keep 100% of the proceeds collected during the events. Payments are due no later than two weeks before the first Truckin' Tuesday date.

VENDOR RULES & EXPECTATIONS:

• No Power: There is no power available. Please plan accordingly.

• Timeliness is Required: Vendors must arrive and be fully set up by the designated setup time. Late arrivals may forfeit their space without a refund.

• No-Show or Cancellation Policy: If you cancel with short notice or fail to show up without communication, you may not be invited to participate in future events.

• Professional Conduct: Vendors are expected to treat staff, fellow vendors, and patrons with courtesy and respect at all times.

 VENDING TIMELINE: 

• Vendor load-in: Please arrive to setup between 3:30-4pm for tents and arrive to setup between 4-4:15pm for trailers & trucks. By 5pm all cars must be parked and vendor tents, trucks, and/or carts must be set up. 
• Vendor load-out: You may start the load-out process at 8pm to be off-site at 8:30pm. 
• All vendors must be ready to serve at 5pm. 

PARKING:

• For compact vehicles or vans, there will be a vendor parking lot to the left of Nickerson building. Overflow parking may be found around Legacy Park's campus. By 5pm all cars must be parked and vendor tents, trucks, and/or carts must be set up. 

VENDOR PLACEMENT:

• When you arrive, please call Dymond Fogg, Programs Manager for instructions on where to park. 
• DO NOT park on the grass
• Face your food truck and/or tent facing S Columbia Dr. This will ensure guests have enough room to line up.

This is an electronic agreement and by completing this form, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

By participating as a vendor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all rules and policies set forth by Legacy Decatur.

You further agree to the following terms:

• Insurance Requirement: Legacy Decatur requires all vendors to carry a general liability insurance policy of at least $1,000,000. Your Certificate of Insurance must list the following as additional insured:

  • Legacy Decatur – 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30030

  • City of Decatur – 509 N. McDonough Street, Decatur, GA 30030
    This certificate must be submitted after approval of your vendor application and before participation in any event at Legacy Park.

• Vendors keep 100% of the proceeds collected during the events.

• All sales are final. For the safety of patrons and vendors, events may be canceled in the case of extreme weather or thunderstorms. These are factors beyond the control of the event organizers.

  • At the sole discretion of the event organizer, a credit toward a future event may be offered in lieu of a refund.

• Chargebacks and bank disputes are prohibited. You agree not to initiate any disputes or chargebacks related to your vendor fee.

• Date changes must be requested by contacting the event organizer as soon as possible. Date changes are not guaranteed. 

• Non-compliance with any rules, policies, or terms may result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

• Vehicle & Grounds Policy: Vendors agree not to drive on the grass at any time, including when entering or exiting the event space. If a vehicle is blocking your access, please kindly ask the staff or vendor to move rather than attempting to drive around them. Driving on the grass causes damage to park grounds and is strictly prohibited. If staff observe you—or another vendor—driving on the grass, you may be banned from future Legacy Park events.
