About the event

The Lucky Flea is a large open-air flea market that hosts over 100 vendors every Sunday in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts. The Flea is a space for local creatives, collectors and vintage curators to gather and sell while connecting with their local customers every week. Our alternative market provides an accessible shopping experience that welcomes patrons to support sustainable efforts and small businesses. The diverse crew of vendors changes weekly, creating a consistently new experience to discover. The market will operate 10AM - 4PM this year, outdoors at 320 N Goodman Street. Rochester's favorite food trucks and food vendors will join in on the event, offering local good eats and treats.

About the application

Please fill out and submit the application below in order to be considered as a vendor at the Lucky Flea for market dates in August! Vendors may apply for as many or as few dates as they wish.

Terms & Conditions

You will ONLY be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your selected vending dates.
 
NO REFUNDS: There are no date transfers or refunds of the vending fee as vendor fees are used for promotional materials, rent and event costs.
 
WEATHER: The market is a rain or shine event. We will remain open in all weather that allows us to continue to operate safely. As long as we are open, you are permitted to continue to sell.
 
YOUR VENDING SPACE: Each vendor space at The Lucky Flea is an approximately 10’x10’ (with additional space between vendors) spot on the asphalt of the Village Gate parking lot located at 320 N Goodman Street. No additional vending materials will be provided.
 
SPOT REQUESTS: Vendor spot requests are first-come, first served. If you do not have a spot preference, one will be assigned to you. Please note, vendor spot preferences will be highly considered but CANNOT be guaranteed.
 
SETUP AND BREAKDOWN: Setup time is between 7AM - 10AM. All vendors must be setup and ready to vend by market open (10 AM). Any vendors that arrive after market open, will have their spot forfeited and will NOT be allowed to setup. If for whatever reason, you cannot make your participating date, it is your responsibility to contact us prior to market open to let us know. Breakdown can begin anytime after market close (4 PM). Breaking down early requires permission from flea event staff. Vendors who leave early without permission may not be invited back for future markets.
 
FOOD VENDORS: Food Vendors that do not operate out of a food truck, must make sure they have obtained a Temporary Food Permit from the Monroe County Health Department and follow all necessary guidelines (food permit and guidelines attached below). ONLY food truck vendors are allowed to operate an open flame at the market. If you are a food vendor that does not operate within a food truck, you cannot use any open flames to cook at your booth due to Rochester Fire Department event safety regulations.
 
FLEA VALUES: The Lucky Flea is first and foremost a safe and inclusive atmosphere for creators to thrive as a collective. Hate is never tolerated.I hereby declare that I have read and accept all conditions of The Lucky Flea Market. I understand that there are no refunds of the vending fee. I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be released publicly. The Lucky Flea LLC. and affiliated businesses including Stern Properties / Village Gate are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event.
