This is the official portal to submit your performance application to join us for our 6th annual season.
EVENT INFORMATION
EVENT NAME: Spring Fling Arts & Music Festival (2026)
LOCATION: Bella Abzug Park - 524 W 34th St, New York, NY 10001
EVENT HOURS: * 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Standard Dates) 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Festival Weekend)*

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Rolling Basis (Apply immediately for schedule consideration)
ELIGIBLE PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES
This application round is strictly open to live musical acts within the following formats:
- Solo Performers
- Duos
- Bands
(Please note: We are not accepting live painters, dance groups, or non-musical performing arts for this specific open call).
SET TIMES & STIPENDS
We pride ourselves on transparent, paid opportunities for independent musicians. Performance compensation is broken down by date type below:
Standard Saturday Sets (May 30, June 6, June 13, June 27 & June 28):
Small Acts (Solos & Duos): $75 - 100 Stipend | 40-Minute Set
Grand Finale Festival Weekend (June 27 & June 28):
Bands (4 Spots Available Exclusively): $1,000 Stipend | 90-Minute Set
Please note that by submitting this application, you agree that you are available for the listed set lengths and accept the flat stipend rates designated for your act's tier.

How It Works:
- Browse and Select: Select from the available 2026 dates listed above and check off the slots you are fully available to perform.
- Review Technical Details: Ensure your setup requirements align with an outdoor public park performance space.
- Notification & Onboarding: Our curation team reviews submissions dynamically. If selected, we will reach out directly to lock you into the official lineup layout and handle your vendor onboarding.
Please note: Colored Colors does not receive state or county funding for this programming. Financial compensation for our musical talent is proudly made possible through partner organizations, private funds, and community sponsors.

Terms & Conditions
Colored Colors Talent Portal - Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms:
- By submitting an application to the Colored Colors Talent Portal, you ("Artist," "Applicant," or "You") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Colored Colors ("We," "Us," or "Our") reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Talent Portal, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
2. Application Process:
- Applications are free of charge.
- You warrant that all information provided in your application is accurate and complete.
- We reserve the right to reject any application for any reason.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for any event.
3. Selection and Engagement:
- Selection of Artists is at the sole discretion of Colored Colors' curatorial team.
- If selected, you will be notified and provided with a detailed scope of work and compensation details.
- Engagement is contingent upon your acceptance of the provided terms.
- Colored Colors reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events.
- If selected, you agree to fulfill the obligations outlined in the event contract.
4. Compensation:
- Selected Artists will be compensated as agreed upon in the event contract.
- Payment terms will be specified in the event contract.
- Colored Colors is responsible for payment to the artist, according to the contract.
5. Intellectual Property:
- You retain ownership of your intellectual property.
- By submitting an application, you grant Colored Colors a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submitted materials (images, videos, bios) for promotional purposes related to the Talent Portal and events.
- You grant colored colors the right to record and photograph your performance for promotional and archival purposes.
- If you perform copyrighted material that is not your own, you are responsible for obtaining the proper licensing.
6. Liability:
- You are responsible for your own safety and equipment during events.
- Colored Colors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your participation in events, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- You are responsible for having your own liability insurance if you deem it necessary.
7. Termination:
- Colored Colors may terminate your participation in the Talent Portal or any event for breach of these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason deemed appropriate.
- You may terminate your participation by providing written notice to Colored Colors.
8. Confidentiality:
- You agree to keep confidential any information provided by Colored Colors that is marked as confidential.
9. Data Privacy:
- Colored Colors will collect and use your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- By submitting an application, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may share your information with partner organizations with your consent.
10. Governing Law:
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State.
