About the application

The Downtown Bryan Lighted Parade is happening Thursday, December 17th, 2026! The Parade will start at 7:00 PM.

 

This year's parade theme is: Candy Cane on Main! We're celebrating all things sweet this year; Participants are encouraged to make their floats as sweet as possible with holiday candy or desserts! 

 

Prizes will be awarded to the floats with the best-themed decorations decided by our judging panel in the following categories:

 

  • Best Use of Theme
  • Best Float
  • Best Walking Group
  • Sweetest Entry! (Best Overall)

The application MUST be received by 5 PM on Monday, December 7th, 2026. Applications will be approved on first-come, first served basis. If capacity is reached before December 7th, a waitlist will be implemented.

 

If your application is accepted, you or a member of your group must attend the mandatory parade meeting before the parade at the Legends Event Center on Monday, December 14th at 6:30 PM. (Address: 2533 Midtown Pk Blvd, Bryan, TX 77801)

 

More info regarding the Manadatory Parade Meeting will be sent to each applicant.

 

If your organization is not represented at the mandatory meeting, your organization will not be allowed to participate in the Lighted Parade.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application, you affirm that you have read and agreed to the Downtown Bryan Lighted Parade Terms and Conditions, attached below, and that you will inform everyone in your organization of the same.

 

I, (The "Participant") understand that participation in the Downtown Bryan Lighted Parade (the "activity") as a Participant which is sponsored by Destination Bryan is completely voluntary on the Participant's part. The participant chooses to participate in this Activity for the participant's personal benefit. The participant recognizes that there may be dangers associated with the Activity and the participant voluntarily and willingly assumes full responsibility for all risks and danger associated with participation in such Activity. The participant understands and agrees that Destination Bryan is not responsible for any accident or injury that arises from or occurs because of participation in this Activity. In consideration for the benefits of the participant's participation, the participant releases, waives, and discharges and covenants not to sue, Destination Bryan, its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action whatsoever, including attorney fees, arising out of or in any way related to participation in this Activity or any injury or damage resulting from such participation. In addition, the participant grants permission to Destination Bryan to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.


My signature acknowledges that I will be present at the Downtown Bryan Lighted Parade. I agree to arrive at my assigned time and location. I agree to follow all rules and regulations set forth by Destination Bryan and understand that failure to do so can result in immediate expulsion without a refund. I will have no illegal substances or weapons on my person, or my vehicle during the Parade. I, ________________________, the Undersigned, binding my heirs, executors, administrators, estate and assigns, do hereby agree to completely and wholly release, indemnify and hold harmless Destination Bryan, the City of Bryan, its officers, agents, independent contractors, and employees for any and all claims, damages, harm, personal injury, including death, property damage, lawsuits and judgments, including court costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney’s fees, and all other expenses resulting from the activities, programs, and events occurring on the above-state date of the parade in Bryan, Texas. It is the understanding of all parties that this release, indemnity, and hold harmless agreement shall apply whether or not the claims, damages, harm, personal injury, including deaths, property damage, lawsuits, judgments, court costs, attorney’s fees, or any other expense arise from the negligence of whatever nature, omissions, willful or intentional acts of the vendors or vendor’s officers, agents, employees, independent contractors, other representatives, invites, licensees, or guests. If this applicant is other than an individual, vendor certifies, warrant and represents that the individual whose signature appears below is duly authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the firm, corporation, partnership or other entity who is the participant.

  • I understand that at least one member of my group must attend the mandatory parade meeting on December 14th at 6:30 p.m. at Legends Event Center (2533 Midtown Pk Blvd, Bryan, TX 77801). I understand that if my organization is not represented at the meeting, we will NOT be able to participate in the parade.
  • I understand that our entire float/walking group must be present by 6:30 PM on December 17th to secure your pre-determined entry position. Only the driver/lead of your entry must be present by your designated check-in time. Being late may result in your float being placed out of order or not being able to participate in the parade.
