About the application

Welcome to the Castro Street Fair! Complete this application to apply for a Food Vendor - Cooking on Site Booth.

 

Each food and beverage space is 10' wide by 20' deep. Price includes all necessary fees including environmental clean-up as well as Health Dept. and the $150 SFFD Fire permit for open flames, propane or generator use. Alcohol sales are not permitted.

About the event

The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974. Harvey began the Castro Street Fair to promote gay-owned businesses and celebrate the vitality of the Castro neighborhood. Each year, we continue his legacy on the 1st weekend in October, by gathering in the heart of the Castro at the intersection of Market & Castro Streets and the surrounding area to celebrate our diversity and support our community. Hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment, DJs and dance areas can be found throughout the fairgrounds. The Fair is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and all proceeds go directly to charitable causes important to the Castro community. Additionally, the Fair funds the rainbow flag that flies over the intersection of Castro and Market.

Food Vendor - Cooking on Site $1,750.00 Non-refundable A standard in-row booth space. Price includes the $150 SFFD Fire permit for open flames, propane or generator use. For questions or concerns about the inclusion of the SFFD Fire Permit please reach out to vendors@castrostreetfair.org
Corner Booth Upgrade $150.00 Non-refundable Upgrade from an in-row booth to a row corner booth with two open sides.
Parking $35.00 Non-refundable A limited number of spaces are available for purchase.
