Vendor Application

The Red, White and Ooooooh! Vendor Market is our 4th of July–themed, book‑loving celebration hosted at our romance bookstore. We’re inviting small businesses, makers, and crafters to apply for a spot in this festive, bookish market filled with creativity, community, and summertime sparkle.

This application will guide you through the details we need to consider your business for participation. Applications are open until June 13th, and all applicants will be contacted after the review period. We’re excited to learn about your products and hope you’ll join us for a day that’s sure to make shoppers say “Ooooooh!”

For this market we are not looking for authors.  We are trying to showcase local businesses and crafters. 

1. Application Deadline

All vendor applications must be submitted by June 13th. Late submissions may not be considered.

2. Vendor Selection

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on event needs, product variety, and alignment with the theme of a bookish 4th of July celebration. All applicants will be notified after the review period.

3. Fees & Payment

If accepted, vendor fees will be due the day after receiving approval. Vendor fees must be paid by the stated deadline to secure your space. Unpaid invoices may result in forfeiture of your spot.

4. Compliance & Licensing 

Vendors are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax collection, food handling requirements (if applicable), and business licensing.

5. Liability 

The event organizers and venue are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury occurring before, during, or after the event. Vendors participate at their own risk and are encouraged to carry their own insurance.

6. Conduct & Professionalism 

Vendors are expected to maintain a welcoming, respectful, and professional environment. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.

7. Weather Policy 

This event will proceed rain or shine unless otherwise communicated. In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event.

8. Photography & Promotion 

By participating, vendors grant permission for the event to use photos or videos of their booth or products for promotional purposes.
