About the event

The City of New Braunfels invites residents to honor local veterans at this year’s Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, in downtown. The event will begin with a ceremony on Main Plaza at 9am, immediately followed by the New Braunfels Veterans Day Parade. The celebratory parade will feature local veterans’ organizations, community floats, non-profit groups, and more.

Terms & Conditions

  • Parade lineup will take place between 7:00-8:30am. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate in the parade. 
  • Throwing candy/items or distributing any other items while the parade is in motion is prohibited by city ordinance. This includes walking/marching participants. (Sec. 126-426)
  • All motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver over the age of 18.
  • Equestrian and animal entries are responsible for removing all animal waste from the parade staging area and along/during the parade route.
