About the application

The City of Lawrenceville is Currently seeking food vendors to celebrate Hispanic and Latin Culture at the Lawrenceville Lawn on Saturday, September 19th  from 3 PM - 8 PM. Keep in mind, load in may begin sometime between 11 AM and 1 PM.

 

To ensure a variety of regional selections, we ask that you sign up for a particular "featured food item". Preference will be given to vendors who offer variety.

CULTURA a full sensory experience celebrating Culture through live music, street performances, food, art, and so much more! There is something fun for everyone to explore at CULTURA! This inclusive event is designed to celebrate a wide range of Hispanic, Latin, and Indigenous, cultural expressions. To some, it is a destination to experience flavor ... to others, it just feels like home. What to expect at this FREE culture festival? Join us at the Lawrenceville Lawn from 3PM - 8PM for a fresh live music lineup featuring original live music, a maker’s market featuring local Latin artists and curators, and a Zona de Comidas featuring a variety of savory and sweet regional Hispanic and Latin treats.

Vendor Criteria: - Vendors must adhere to City Event Safety Guidelines, https://www.downtownlawrencevillega.com/health-and-safety/

  • Vendors must provide all necessary equipment for booth space (10x10 tent, table, chairs, etc.)
  • We will have an exclusive alcohol vendor on site. All other vendors are not permitted to sell alcohol.
  • Vendors are asked to refrain from selling glass items including but not limited to beverages in a glass bottle.

 

Event Safety Guidelines – Stormwater and Grounds Protection

  • Vendors are required to secure all grease, waste, and any other materials that could potentially damage event grounds or enter stormwater drains.
  • In the event of an illicit discharge caused by negligence (e.g., spilled grease or contaminants), the vendor will be responsible for a cleanup fee of up to $1,000. This fee covers materials and labor provided by the Lawrenceville Spill Response Team.
  • Vendors responsible for such discharges may not be invited back to future City of Lawrenceville events.
