Attending Author Application
About the application
The Blessed Creatives Summit invites Black authors across Minnesota to showcase their books, connect with readers, and celebrate the power of Black storytelling. This application is open to authors of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children’s books, comics, and hybrid or experimental work. Both traditionally published and self‑published authors are welcome.
Authors will have the opportunity to sell their books in our creative marketplace and to be considered for participation in our Literary Readings Series, a curated program where authors share excerpts from their work with attendees in an intimate, community‑centered setting. Participation in readings is optional and based on a selection process.
We welcome authors who are committed to craft, community, and sharing stories that reflect the richness and depth of Black experience.
