About the application

The Island Park Show is one of Fargo’s premier summer events, bringing together high-quality artists, makers, and thousands of attendees for a weekend experience in the heart of Island Park.

 

We are seeking experienced, professional food vendors to be part of our designated food court area, offering a variety of food options that enhance the overall guest experience. Vendors should be prepared to serve a high-volume crowd efficiently while maintaining strong presentation, cleanliness, and customer service standards.

 

This is a curated event, and all food vendor applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and well-balanced selection of offerings.

 

Food vendors are responsible for:

  • Providing a full menu with pricing at the time of application
  • Supplying all necessary equipment for safe food preparation and service
  • Complying with all local and state health regulations
  • Carrying proper insurance coverage
  • Following all event guidelines and operational expectations

Please note:

  • Space is limited and not all applicants will be accepted
  • Preference may be given to vendors offering unique menu items or efficient service models
  • While appreciated, returning vendors are not guaranteed acceptance

Selected vendors will receive detailed load-in instructions, setup times, and event logistics prior to the event.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application, the vendor agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors are selected based on menu variety, quality, and overall event fit. The Fargo Park District reserves the right to accept or deny any application. Approved vendors will receive confirmation and payment instructions.

 
2. FEES & PAYMENT
Food vendor booth fee: $350
Payment must be received by the stated deadline to secure participation.
Booth fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Fargo Park District.

 
3. FOOD & MENU REQUIREMENTS
Vendors must sell only items listed on their approved application.
Menu changes must be approved in advance.
Subleasing or sharing booth space is not permitted without prior approval.
Vendors are expected to operate for the full duration of the event.

 
4. HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Vendors must comply with all regulations set by the North Dakota Department of Health and local health authorities.
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and inspections.
Safe food handling practices must be followed at all times.
Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

 
5. BEVERAGE EXCLUSIVITY AGREEMENT
All beverages sold must be Coca-Cola products due to an exclusive sponsorship agreement.
No Pepsi or competing beverage products are allowed.
Homemade beverages must be pre-approved.
All 20 fl oz beverages must be sold at a minimum price of $3.00. All can beverages must be sold at a minimum price of $1.00.
Vendors may set pricing above this minimum.

 
6. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Vendors must provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) prior to the event.
Policy must include:

  • Minimum $1,000,000 general liability coverage
  • Fargo Park District listed as Additional Insured
  • Coverage valid for all event dates

Vendors without proper insurance will not be permitted to operate.

 
7. SETUP, OPERATIONS & TEARDOWN
Vendors must follow assigned load-in times and instructions.
All booths must be fully set up prior to event opening.
Vendors must remain open during all event hours.
Early teardown is strictly prohibited and may impact eligibility for future events.
Vendors are responsible for their own equipment, setup, and teardown.

 
8. CLEANLINESS & WASTE MANAGEMENT
Vendors must maintain a clean and sanitary booth at all times.
All trash must be disposed of in designated areas.
Grease, oil, and wastewater must be disposed of properly and not on event grounds.

 
9. FIRE & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Vendors using grills, fryers, or propane must comply with fire safety regulations.
Fire extinguishers may be required depending on equipment used.
Vendors must follow all safety instructions provided by event staff.

 
10. WEATHER POLICY
This is a rain or shine event.
Vendors are responsible for preparing for weather conditions.
No refunds will be issued due to weather-related conditions.

 
11. LIABILITY
Vendors assume all responsibility for damages, loss, or injury related to their booth operations.
Fargo Park District is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

 
12. ENFORCEMENT & REMOVAL
Failure to comply with any rules or regulations may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the event
  • Loss of booth fees
  • Ineligibility for future events

13. AGREEMENT
By submitting this application, the vendor acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
