Portrait of a Community: 2025 Members' Exhibition
About the application
Portrait of a Community: 2026 Members’ Exhibition
On display: August 10 - October 2, 2026
Art Association Members are invited to submit artwork for our annual exhibition—a celebration of member creativity. This year’s theme, Portrait of a Community, welcomes work in any medium that explores what “community” means in Jackson Hole.
We encourage interpretations that go beyond the literal. A community “portrait” isn’t one face—it’s a chorus. This exhibition treats Jackson Hole as a living subject and asks: What does “local” look like, feel like, and sound like? We hope to include a dynamic mix of traditional portraiture alongside objects, maps, audio, and participatory pieces—so visitors leave with a layered understanding of place.
Consider how your work brings a concept, a moment, a memory, a scene, or imagination into Jackson—for yourself and/or the viewer. Artist statements will be displayed with the work to deepen the visitor experience. We can’t wait to see what you create.
