Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in being a part of our Vendors Room for AnimeNJ++ 2026! We have updated some of our rules and policies, so please take the time to read them carefully before submitting your application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

AnimeNJ++ 2026 will be held November 13th-15th, 2026 at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. We will continue to have our Vendors Room in our Exhibitors Hall, sharing the space between Artists and Vendors, similar to 2025.

A Single Vendors Space space is 10ft x 10ft and comes with two (2) chairs, one (1) 6ft x 2.5ft table, and two (2) badges. Single Booths are $450 each; Corner Booths are $500 each. Additional badges are available for $50 each. Vendors will be limited to a max of three (3) total booths. If tables and chairs are not required (because Vendor is providing own set-up, please let Exhibitors Coordinator know in advance so that the booth will be kept empty. Electricity and Internet are not included.

Currently, the Exhibitors Hall hours are as follows (subject to change):

Friday: 12pm - 7pm
Saturday: 10am - 7pm
Sunday: 10am - 3pm
Setup will begin on Thursday; further information will be available closer to convention.

AnimeNJ++ selects all vendors via a jury process. In order to aid in this process, we ask that you include a link to online pictures of your table, catalog, or portfolio provided in the application form. We receive many more applications than we are able to accept and having samples of your space provided to us will greatly aid in our process. Having a juried Vendors Room will ensure a wide variety of artists that can bring their best quality wares to our attendees.

AnimeNJ++ reserves the right to rescind acceptance in the case of a failed payment process. Please make sure payment information is accurate at the time of submission.

This is an application and contract for vendor booth space at AnimeNJ++, held on the weekend November 13-15th, 2026.  The contract is between Media Blasters, Inc., and the signee (“Vendor”) upon written acceptance.  Terms, notwithstanding the establishment of, adjustment to, or changes to the plan of exhibits, vendor booths, rates, regulations, and any or all other areas, at the sole discretion of the SPONSOR, with or without notice, all of which constitute part of this contract, are as follows.

Full payment in advance is REQUIRED before any Vendor will be allowed to set-up at AnimeNJ++ 2026.

Vendor Policies

All registered vendors agree to abide by the following:

• The Primary Contact for Vendors must be at least 18 years of age as of November 13th, 2026.
• Vendors must abide by all state and federal laws, especially concerning copyright laws and restricted sales of unsafe or inappropriate products to minors.
• All vendors will accept full responsibility for the collection of any state, local, and federal taxes.
• Vendors must abide by all the convention policies.
• No bootlegs or unlicensed reproductions of existing merchandise.
• Vendors must contain their display to their assigned areas.
• All boxes, packaging materials, etc. must be stored beneath display tables or removed from the premises prior to the opening of the Exhibitors Hall.
• Vendors will be fully responsible for their own properties at all times.
• AnimeNJ++ will not cover any costs of travel or lodging.
• Be respectful to AnimeNJ++ staff, Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands staff, and your fellow exhibitors.

Items that MAY be sold in Vendors Room include:

• Any licensed authentic US merchandise.
• Any licensed authentic imported merchandise.
• Any products featuring your own creations.
• Used goods (that follow the above policies) that are clearly labelled as such.
• Commissioned and hand-drawn original works.
• Unique, individual, handmade original items.
• Doujinshi, fanzines, and similar original items.

Items that MAY NOT be sold in Vendors Room include:

• No metal weaponry. Other non-metal weapons (wooden, plastic, foam, etc.) may be sold at the vendor’s discretion.
• No AI generated items/artwork.
• Bootleg merchandise.
• Dangerous merchandise, including, but not limited to: weapons, loud noisemakers, combustible items, and items that could easily cause harm.
• Any posters, idol cards, etc. which read “Kodak”, “Fuji”, etc. on the back.
• Unlicensed reproductions of any products, regardless of whether they are released by an American company.
• Contact lenses or any other kind of regulated medical device.
• Holding giveaways, raffles, or other games of chance.

Any violation will come with a warning, at which time you will be asked to remove the offending merchandise from the premises. Failure to comply or a subsequent violation is cause for removal from the convention and forfeiture of all fees.

Additionally, due to fire regulations, there is to be no selling goods from the floor or under tables, canopies or tents cannot be used, and no fire equipment or exits can be blocked. AnimeNJ++ staff reserves the right to request removal of obstructing items.

AnimeNJ++ has a strict, NO BOOTLEG policy. We will have zero-tolerance for any vendors that do not comply with our policies regarding bootlegs and trademark violations. Failure to comply with this policy is cause for removal from the convention and forfeiture of all fees.

Vendors Check-In

Vendors must check in at the Exhibitors table prior to occupying their booths in the Vendors Room to receive their convention information and badges. All booths will be assigned and labeled. Vendors may not swap booths. Vendors that fail to check in by 11am on Friday of the convention will forfeit their booth without refund, unless they have made prior arrangements for a later check-in with the Exhibitors Coordinator.

Vendors Conduct

All Vendors agree to the following:

• All Vendors are required to act in professional manner and not denigrate or impede access to other Vendors. Any complaints about such items should be promptly reported to the Exhibitors Coordinator or members of the convention staff.
• Megaphones / Sound Systems: The use of megaphones or sound systems (playing music, making announcements, etc.) is not permitted in the Exhibitors Hall.
• Postering/Graffiti: Vendors cannot write on the walls, or use any fastener material which will leave a residual. Vendors will be responsible for the cleaning costs of any graffiti or fasteners residue left in their area. A survey of the building will be done before move-in to determine if any prior-existing problems exist.
• Shipping / Receiving: If you wish to ship or receive goods at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights, please contact Hilton Hasbrouck Heights to arrange.
• Food Sales: No food or beverages of any kind can be sold in the Vendor’s Hall less with prior email confirmed permission from AnimeNJ++.

Taxes and Licenses

AnimeNJ++ is not responsible for obtaining any licenses or permits required by local, state, and federal law for any vendors within the Exhibitors Hall. Vendors shall be responsible for obtaining licenses, permits or approval required under law applicable to their activity at AnimeNJ++. Vendors shall be responsible for paying all taxes, license fees, fines or any charges that shall come due to any governmental authority in connection with their activity at AnimeNJ++. Vendors will be required to provide a vendor’s permit, temporary or otherwise upon request of convention.

Insurance

Vendor understands that neither AnimeNJ++/Media Blasters, Inc. nor the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights will be maintaining insurance covering any VENDOR property and it is the sole responsibility for the VENDOR to obtain such insurance. AnimeNJ++ is NOT responsible for any stolen/lost or damaged item(s).  

Liability

Anyone visiting or viewing or otherwise participating in the Vendor's exhibit is deemed to be the invitee or Vendor rather than the invitee or licensee of the convention. AnimeNJ++/Media Blasters, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury whatsoever to the persons conducting or otherwise participating in the conduct of Vendor's exhibit or to invitees, licensees or guests of Vendor. Vendor assumes full liability for the actions of its agents, employees, or independent contractors, whether acting within or without the scope of their authority. AnimeNJ++/Media Blasters, Inc. is NOT responsible for any stolen, lost or damaged item(s).  

Subletting and Sharing

The subletting or sharing of exhibit/vendor space at AnimeNJ++ is prohibited.  AnimeNJ++ does not permit these arrangements.  Please be aware that if the Vendor chooses to sublet the space rented to them despite this prohibition, their contract will be at risk of termination.

Security

Vendor is solely and fully responsible for Vendor's exhibit material.  Under no circumstance will AnimeNJ++/Media Blasters, Inc. be liable for loss or damage of merchandise, equipment or revenue.  All property of the Vendor is understood to remain in the Vendor's care, custody and control in transit to or from or within the confines of the exhibit premises. The Vendor is solely responsible for their merchandise and equipment during all open hours.

Adult Materials

We ask that Exhibitors (Artists and Vendors), particularly those who sell adult material, keep in mind that there will be minors present. Think PG-13. The acceptability of displays of material is at the discretion of the Exhibitors Head. Any material that contains nudity, is extremely or graphically violent, or is otherwise unsuitable for minors (anyone below the age of 18) may only be sold in the designated 18+ room or kept out of the general public’s view and only viewed or sold upon proper ID check. If adult material (18+) makes up 25% or more of your merchandise, you must register as an 18+ exhibitor. Exhibitors who display prohibited adult material in the general public’s view or attempt to sell it without proper ID check will be reminded once about our adult material policy. Failure to comply with warnings is cause for removal from Exhibitors Rooms (Artists Alley and Vendors Room) and forfeiture of all fees.

Blades and Weapons

Vendors may NOT sell or display weapons or props with a metal blade, including (but not limited to) swords, knives, daggers, etc., anywhere on the premises of the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights (to include all facilities and parking lots).

Sales of such items are to be limited to those 18 years and over. It is the responsibility of the VENDOR to check age ID before any sales. Failure to comply may result in but is not limited to VENDOR'S expulsion from AnimeNJ++ with no refund of Vendors Hall rental fee, arrest, and/or criminal prosecution.

Bootleg Materials

Any items or merchandise for sale which are not legally authorized, implied or otherwise, to be sold are prohibited. Prohibited items include (but not exclusively): videos distributed by persons/organizations, music and or visual medium that is not manufactured by authorized rights holders, model kits with whom legal copyrights are not held, and items copied for resale without authorization or are not licensed in North America.

Please note: AnimeNJ++ Staff may inspect the booths during set up and throughout the event for such material. Sponsor may or may not issue a verbal warning.  The Vendor may be expulsed from AnimeNJ++ WITHOUT any warning, verbal or otherwise, at the convention's sole discretion, with no liability to AnimeNJ++/Media Blasters, Inc. for rental fees, lost revenue, or any and all other incurrences.
