PROSPECTUS
2026 marks the 10th Annual year. Our contemporary art, craft, and design market occurs in West Palm Beach, FL across from the Town of Palm Beach. Ranked as a top destination in Florida, this event will create an atmosphere for everyone. Up to 150 artists may gather at the Creative Market to showcase their work and provide demonstrations, performances, and more. Judges present cash awards in 2D, 3D and Best in Show.
CATEGORIES
- Artists may apply in up to 3 categories.
- You must submit a separate application for each category For example, If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.
- Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
- Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.
- Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
- Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
- Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
- Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
- Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
- Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.
- Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
- Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
- Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
- Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

APPLICATION + NOTIFICATION
Deadline
- Those who have applied by October 2, 2026 will be juried in the First Round with early notification by October 16, 2026 Any person who applies after the deadline may be considered if there are any remaining spaces.
- The application fee is $50 and is non-refundable.
Artist must accept and pay by October 23, 2026; if no communication from the artist has been made prior to said date, The Armory Art Center reserves the right to assign another applicant to your space.
JURY / SELECTION PROCESS
The Jury consists of jurors selected for their in-depth knowledge and experience, with a diversity of backgrounds and skills, including working artists, educators, fine artists, and arts administrators.All applications are viewed anonymously.
- Scoring is averaged; top scoring artists are invited to participate in the show.
Criteria: - Body of work: how well the images represent a point of view
- Artistic theme: design, vision, creativity
- Technical competence: technique, skill, degree of difficulty, mastery of materials used
ELIGIBILITY
All artwork submitted and presented for sale must be designed and executed by the accepted artist. Original work only for reproductions or kits.
GENERAL INFORMATION
WAITLIST POLICY
Applicants will be juried and contacted in the order they were received if space opens up.
HEALTH + SAFETY
The Armory Art Center leadership will align organizational and event policies with guidelines from the Florida Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control. We will communicate any changes to our policies.
SECURITY
Artists exhibit work at their own risk. The venue provides overnight security, but neither the venue, the Armory Art Center, or the event’s sponsors are responsible for damage, theft, or loss of artists’ work.
PARKING
There is ample free parking available for exhibitors on the street. During load-in/out, exhibitors may park in the designated loading zone, but they are expected to move their cars promptly so that others may unload. You will be directed by staff.
PUBLICITY
The Creative Market is promoted across various communication platforms. Highlights include billboards, radio social media, print advertising, and special promotions with corporate partners and luxury brands in Palm Beach.
The Armory Art Center retains the right to use all images submitted with your application to promote the show, both in 2026 and in future years, as needed.
EXHIBITORS + THEIR DESIGNS
- All work exhibited at the show must be designed and created by hand (or with the use of appropriate tools) by the artist accompanying it to the show.
- Sales representatives or agents who are not directly involved in production may not participate.
- Each exhibitor may have one assistant each day. Exhibitors and exhibitor assistants must wear their badges at all times. Badges must be returned at the end of the event.
TENTS:
Selected artist will have the option to bring their own tent or rent a tent from our selected vendor. Tent spaces are 10x10 single or 10X20 double. All tents are outside. There are NO inside selling areas. All artwork must fit inside of your tented area.
BRING YOUR OWN TENT:
- Tent must be white. No exceptions tents that are not white will NOT be accepted
- You must have weights for all 4 corners of your tent.
- You will provide your own table, seating and set up for your tent.
- Artist must set up and breakdown their own area
TENT RENTAL:
- You must use our selected vendor- The Tent Guys 561-374-1783 call make rental purchase once selected
- 10X10 or 10X20 tents will be available for rent. - You should only rent the size of space that you purchased from the Armory Art Center. i.e. if you purchase a 10x10 space then you should rent a 10x10 tent. If you rent a larger tent than you space you will be asked to get the correct size or breakdown
- Propanels, tables and chairs will be available for rent
- Rental includes set up and breakdown of the tent and propanels if selected.

- 10x10 artist tent $300
- 10x10 artist tent with pro panels $500
- 10x20 artist tent $600
- 10x20 artist tent and pro panels $1000
- Tables $15 - 6ft limited quantities
- Chairs $5 - limited quantities
- Pricing:
- ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT AND PAYMENTS ARE BETWEEN THE ARTIST AND RENTAL COMPANY. THE ARMORY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AGREEMENTS, PAYMENTS OR ARRANGEMENTS BETWEEN THE ARTIST AND RENTAL COMPANY. THE ARMORY ART CENTER DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY PROCEEDS FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Artists who have not checked in at the Armory in-person by 8:30 am on December 5, 2026 will be considered a NO SHOW and the assigned space will be forfeited with no refund.
NO SOLICITATION:
Exhibitors are present at our shows for the purpose of representing their work. No exhibitor, or their representatives, will engage in any type of solicitation of any products, supplies, shows, etc.
WEATHER:
The Market is held outdoors and indoors. No credits or refunds will be issued if the event is affected by forces of nature beyond our control. Please check our website for updates on cancellations resulting from severe weather such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, etc. Please note, we will not cancel unless informed by state, city, or local officials that it will be in the best interest of safety for all. Cancellation of the show will be at the show coordinator’s discretion on-site at the time.
It is the exclusive right and responsibility of the event staff to call for the removal of work that is not in compliance with the event policies and requirements.
