About the application

"Sail in their honor. Never forget."

We take to the water so we never forget.

Every flag flown, every light strung, every boat on the water is a tribute to the men and women who gave everything for our freedom. The Myrtle Beach Chamber Boat Parade is more than a celebration — it's a moving memorial, a community united in gratitude and remembrance.

Dress your boat patriotically and honor those who served — or bring your own spirit of celebration to the water. Whatever you choose, your presence is a statement: we remember, and we are proud. Entries are limited. Don't miss your chance to be part of something meaningful.

Terms & Conditions

Check-In & Line-Up
Friday: Chamber Check-In All participating boats must check in at the Little River Chamber of Commerce on Friday to receive their assigned parade number and line-up instructions.

Saturday: Staging

Time: 11:30 a.m.
Location: Off the shore of Windjammer Village in the ICW, at approximately 33.8646° N, 78.6322° W (or as directed by the Lead Captain)
Radio: Monitor VHF Channel 10 as you approach Windjammer. Parade staff will direct you into formation.
Displaying Your Number
Your assigned number must be displayed on both the starboard (right) and port (left) sides near the bow and must remain in place for the entire parade.

Secure your number well.  Poorly fastened numbers tend to fold in the wind and become unreadable. Make it large and easy to spot.

The Parade Route
At noon, the lead boat will guide the parade from Windjammer Village down to the festival at Little River Landing, continuing on to Harbourgate Marina, where the route ends.

All boats are requested to follow the entire route.
Boats must enter the bay area of Harbourgate Basin to make the turn.
Boats returning to home marinas afterward should stay right of the ICW centerline and watch for rough wake.
Rules of the Route
Stay right of the ICW centerline while the parade is in operation.
Maintain your assigned order.  This is essential for the best viewing experience.
Keep proper spacing: leave room between you and the boat ahead, but don't fall so far behind that spectators lose interest.
No 360-degree turns on the parade route. Any vessel performing one will be disqualified.
No fireworks are to be discharged from any vessel.
No inappropriate behavior.  This is a family-oriented event.
Be considerate of other participants' decorations and lights.
After the Parade
Please return your assigned number to the Little River Chamber of Commerce.

Tips for a Great Parade
BE DIFFERENT!  Use animation to bring your boat to life.

BE COLORFUL!  Deck displays with variety and bold color demand attention. You want to be seen from a distance.

BE VISIBLE!  Ask yourself: can your decorations be seen clearly from 300–400 feet away?

MAKE THINGS BIG!  Bigger displays and bigger numbers read better on the water.

DON'T CROWD THE BOAT AHEAD! The boat in front of you will draw the most attention if you're too close.

DON'T LAG BEHIND!  Spectators feed off the excitement already in the air; gaps kill the energy.

HAVE FUN!

A Final Note
This is a patriotic parade for families and children, and we ask that you decorate with that spirit in mind.

ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICAL SIGNAGE OR MESSAGES are to be displayed on any vessel.

Thank you for participating.

Never Forget.
