About the application

The City of Gardena is hosting its annual Youth in Government Event.  This program is designed to raise awareness among youth about how their city operates and the impact their voices can have. Vendors tabling at the event are asked to be set up no later than 8:30 am. Vendor may leave after lunch at 12:15 pm.  

About the event

Join us for the City of Gardena’s Youth in Government Day. This program is designed to raise awareness among youth about how their city operates and the impact their voices can have. Students will be provided breakfast and lunch and will have the opportunity to tour city facilities, learn about their community, and meet city elected officials, employees, and community members. This program is offered in partnership with the Gardena Community of Schools, and students attending these schools already have an opportunity to be selected. If your student is a Gardena resident but does not attend one of the participating Gardena schools, they are still eligible to be selected to participate in Youth in Government Day. To be considered, please complete the application below.
