We are excited to be planning the biggest and best 250th birthday celebration for our nation right here in our community!

From this cherished American holiday to the lively summer spirit of Georgia, our little town comes alive as guests and citizens from all walks of life gather to celebrate, connect, and enjoy the festivities. This event is all about community, patriotism, family fun, and hometown charm.

Our vendors play a huge part in making this celebration so special. From handmade crafts and unique goods to delicious festival favorites, toe-tapping music, and one-of-a-kind experiences, vendors help bring our streets to life and create an unforgettable atmosphere for everyone who attends.

We invite you to browse through the application and consider being part of this exciting celebration. We look forward to showcasing a vibrant mix of talented makers, food vendors, entertainers, and community-minded businesses.

This is a juried event. Read the guidelines below carefully before completing the application.
 
The deadline is June 1, 2026, for all applications.  The application fee ($10) is non-refundable, even if the event is canceled. 
 
ELIGIBILITY: 
All media must be handmade and original. No direct sales vendor need apply. Commercial crafts or crafts originating from kits are not acceptable. All exhibited work must be similar to the photographs submitted and will be verified by the festival representatives who reserve the right to require vendors to remove any item or items that do not meet these requirements, or any item not approved upon acceptance. The committee reserves the right to reject any application for any reason.
 
JURYING:
We look for the highest quality work and strive to have a variety of media, styles, and price points represented at the festival. All work must be original, produced by the exhibitor, and for sale.
 
LOCATION:
This event is held on the streets in beautiful downtown Monroe, Georgia. From I-20 take Exit 82, go north onto Hwy 138/ GA20 continue 18 miles to W. Spring Street, turn right, continue 2 miles to N. Broad Street. (Vendor acceptance packets will indicate where a vendor is to enter the festival area according to the location of the vendor's booth.)
 
HOURS:
This event is Saturday, July 4, 2026 9AM- 2PM. Vendor load-in will begin at 7:00 AM on festival day. Vendors must staff and keep booths intact during the festival hours.
 
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
The festival WILL NOT reschedule due to inclement weather. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.
 
CATEGORIES:
Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.
Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece. Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.
Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Participant understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the event is held in an open-air venue which is subject to inclement weather and other acts of God, as well as civil unrest or other unforeseen events. Because of the potential of cancellation as the result of the above, Participant agrees that the city of Monroe, Monroe DDA, and Main Street Monroe and its employees shall not be liable or responsible to Participant in any respect as the result of Participant’s investment/payment to the city of Monroe of money in the event the festival is cancelled due to some unforeseen reason, which is out of the control of the festival. Participant further agrees and acknowledges that in the event the festival or any part is cancelled for any reason, that Participant shall not be entitled to the refund of any monies paid to the city of Monroe for the event.
 
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The city of Monroe, Monroe DDA or Main Street Monroe shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost opportunity, or any other such loss or damages resulting from a direct or indirect reliance upon this agreement, participation in the event, or payment of any fees or deposit. The parties agree that Georgia law shall govern this agreement and any dispute arising from the relationship between the parties to this agreement; and further, any action at law or other judicial or administrative proceeding arising from this agreement may be maintained only in the Superior Court of Walton County, Georgia, which shall have proper jurisdiction over any and all such matters and disputes.**This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Resale of wholesale items (buy/sell), commercially manufactured products, mass produced items and kits ARE NOT PERMITTED and will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.

  • All vendors are required to supply their own tents, chairs, tables, electrical cords, or anything needed to conduct business on festival day. Each booth space is 10 X 10 feet in size. Each vendor must keep their business within the 10 X 10 space assigned space unless additional space has been purchased.
  • The application deadline is Monday, June 1, 2026.  Applications submitted after this date will be charged a $20 late fee and will not be placed with the first jury selections.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed unless licensed to sell alcohol.
  • Booths must be neat in appearance and not distract from neighboring displays. Each vendor is responsible for the removal of their trash.
  • Vendors are not allowed to stake tents in asphalt or concrete in the streets
  • Vendors must provide tent weights.  Tents without weights may result in disqualification from the event.
  • Vendors are required to handle their own sales tax reporting.
  • Booths must be manned at all times and exhibit their work for the entire festival day.
  • Vendors may not remove their work until the end of the festival day at 2:00pm.
  • All participants must sign a release form (attached) in order for the application to be accepted.
  • All artists and crafters must sign the Guarantee of Product statement (attached) in order for the application to be accepted.
  • Electricity is not available. If you need power to your booth, please prepare accordingly.
  • ONLY QUIET GENERATORS are allowed in the festival area. Generators must be muffled in consideration of your neighboring vendors.
  • Water is not provided. Vendors must bring their own supply of water if needed. Use of water from surrounding buildings is prohibited and will result in removal from festival without a refund.
  • No music allowed in individual booths unless otherwise approved by the event coordinator.
  • The festival staff reserves the right to reject any organization whose presentation, goals or objectives may be offensive and not in the best interest of the community.
  • Vehicles are not allowed in the festival area after setup time of over or during the festival hours. This is strictly enforced by the city of Monroe Police Department.
  • Any vendor failing to meet all requirements and regulations may be asked to leave the festival area or will be disqualified.
  • Fully completed application, photos, payment and non-profit documentation (of applicable) are required for the application to be considered complete. This requirement is for everyone regardless, if you have a vendor in the past.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS. DO NOT UNPLUG AP UNITS IN THE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. The outlets are for the WI-FI in downtown Monroe. Removal will cause the vendor to lose the outlet without a refund.
  • Adding items to your display to sell that are not included on you application is prohibited.
  • Double check for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.

Prices

Application fees $10.00 Non-refundable This a $10 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon submission.
Single booth $100.00 Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. If your setup is larger, you must purchase an additional vendor space. Each vendor must provide a tent and all contents associated with their business for the day.
